DV have started their campaign with a win, and the two sides who haven't begun yet get into action barely 15 minutes from now. It is a double-header Sunday today, as Gulf Giants and Sharjah Warriors face off in Dubai. So the action from the ILT20 isn't done yet. Join us for the second game, as we wrap up from this one. Good night, and take care!
Dan Lawrence is the Player of the Match: "The situation was quite nice to come into, knowing I had to give myself time. Lockie did really well [as captain]. From the hotel to how the coaches treat you, this is probably the most professional set-up."
Lockie Ferguson, DV captain: "Obviously nice to get across the line. Good toss to win. I've played here a bit. Nice to get underway with a win today. Those times have changed [of feeling extra pressure as a captain]. They bowled very well today. It wasn't easy going into the wind."
Sunil Narine, ADKR captain: "We did pretty good to get back in the game. We had a tough powerplay. We obviously wanted more. Key was first six [overs]. It became easier. It's similar [to the pitches here]. Normally, there's a bit more movement. Obviously, [coach] Bravo is a legend of the game."
Time for the presentations
5.28pm With six overs to go in the chase, DV needed another 54 runs with eight wickets remaining. But ADKR were not quite out of the game, you thought, given one tight over could yet tilt the momentum their way. The next two overs, though, turned it around for DV. They were led by Lawrence, who smashed 70 off 39 balls, as with Curran, who hit an unbeaten 50, he added 95 for the third wicket. The chase finished with more than an over to spare, DV's finishing kick making up for a slow start. Hang around for the presentations.
END OF OVER:18 | 7 Runs 1 Wkt | DV: 157/3 (10 runs required from 12 balls, RR: 8.72, RRR: 5.00)
