11.09am And with that, Stokes accepts the series trophy, and wanders off to celebrate with his team, behind a placard declaring them "Winners", which is about the measure of it.

It's been a remarkable tour. England have won three Tests in a month, having won just two of their previous 24 Tests in Pakistan since 1961. It's nine out of ten since the Stokes-McCullum era began, and it's New Zealand next in the New Year.

For the meantime, that's all from us. Thanks for joining us, and Merry Christmas all. From Miller, Alan, Matt, Chandan and the team, see you next time!

Arish: "The thing that stands out to me the most on the batting chart is the strike rates. England were playing one day cricket out there. Bazball will sooner or later have an off day, but it's tough to not admire the fearlessness they play with, the envy of every test team around the world"

JOYDEEP GILL: "Fun fact England score in T20I semi final was 170/0 vs India and in this match 170/2 reminded me of T20I cricket "

Vijay: "For the first time, except Ben Foakes, all other England players including bowlers have batting strike rate more than 80 in the series.. Amazing !"

Presentation time.

Harry Brook is both Player of the Match and Player of the Series. Not a bad month's work: "Probably my best tour so far, to win 3-0 here, no-one's done it before, phenomenal from the lads. I was annoyed with myself in the second Test when I got out to Abrar. Had to look myself in the mirror."

Babar Azam: "Definitely disappointment as a team, we are not good enough to fight back. First innings, we lost back to back wickets, good in batches, but that moment cost us. Bowling, definitely, your best pacer is not fit so that cost us. A lot of positive things in this series, but also things that we lack."

Ben Stokes: "Perfect. We've got a process we want to play but the challenge was the different pitches for every Test. We stuck to our gameplans and adapted really well. Particularly with the ball, whoever I threw it to they seemed to deliver. The commitment and mindset has been top drawer. It comes down to belief, that I have and the ten other guys. That resonates around everyone, the confidence everyone has gives me so much confidence in myself too. Every person has stood up at some point, but Harry Brook has been unbelievable for us. He's set Pakistan on fire, the calmness and belief is high class. And Rehan, 18 years old, the belief he's got in himself... he's not the finished article but to affect the game as he has done ...

"We knew what cricket means to Pakistan... we felt like the cricket that was being played was being celebrated. To walk off to a reception at every ground was very special."

Duckett is speaking to Sky: "Fitting Stokes was there at the end, he wanted to hit a six to go past Baz, he wanted it bad. Me and Zak tried to be positive, his first-ball four set the tone and we got off to a flyer. Very happy, lots of spin, I tried to stick to my game, if I was over-critical I left some runs out there. Abrar is a good bowler but we probably gifted him a few wickets in his first innings. The mindset of this team, it's easy to come into. I've not played in a team like this, is not about losing, all the pressure comes off you."

Ravi: "It's no mean feat to whitewash a series defeating the host in sub-continent. Full Credit to England
.Thry changed the way test cricket looks."

10.44am We'll be ready with the presentations shortly. Meanwhile, Ben Stokes is just the seventh Test captain to win nine or more matches in a calendar year. And I doubt many managed it in his first year in charge.

Duckett has also snuck into second place in the series run-scoring charts. Due reward for his quietly impressive campaign.

Saad: "England also got white washed in Ashes series with 5-0. But after that they challenged themselves and changed things drastically. Pakistan must do same."

A A Musabbir: "I was little bit tensed that it seems to finish game where the run rate of England remains below six at the last moment. but last ball four ensures the run rate of this chase above six. well done England." Gosh, so it did

10.38am Handshakes and back slaps all round... Stokes strolls off with a look of deep contentment, chatting to Babar as he plucks a stump as a souvenir. It's England's second victory in Karachi in as many visits, across 22 years, and Pakistan's first 3-0 whitewash on home soil. And Azhar Ali is out there taking the plaudits as he leaves the field for the final time as an international cricketer. Not the way he'd have wanted to bow out, but a mighty 11 year career, 97 Tests and more than 7000 runs.

The rest of the England dressing room is on the outfield now, shaking hands with their beaten opponents, it's a very chilled scene on a morning that never really had much riding on it, but is no less significant for that.
