Commentator: Vithushan Ehantharajah

9:25pm: Well, a pretty tame end to what had been an electric start to the series for England, but a rallying effort from New Zealand to salvage the series. Have either team garnered anything a month out from the 50-over World Cup? No doubt we'll learn more from Friday when the four-match ODI series gets going in Cardiff. We'll see you then!

9:15pm: Two captains in very different moods...

New Zealand's Tim Southee: "We were far from our best in those first two (matches). and the last two were performances were more what we were about. The first two games we were rotten in all three areas and the last two games we just played the way we know this team can play."

England's stand-in, Moeen Ali: "I thought we just lost momentum. Very disappointing because then we couldn't really catch up. We got a reasonable score but not good enough. We just couldn't get it right with the ball."

9:10pm: Player of the match is Mitchell Santner.

"Credit to the lads, we obviously came out pretty strong with the ball. We hung on in there and were able to take poles through the middle which was pretty key. He (Bairstow) is pretty tough to stop when he's going, but we knew the Power Play was the best time to bat."

Player of the series is Jonny Bairstow for 175 runs at 58.33, and a strike rate of 147. Thankfully, the shoulder injury that kept him off the field is nothing serious: "Yeah I'll be fine. It's just one of those things, it's precautionary. With everything we've got coming up, there was no point taking chances with it.

"It's been a bit of a while since I've played white ball cricket so it was just about getting rhythm with it. I was probably run a ball for a couple of the knocks and accelerated on from there."

9:02pm: Mark R: "Not one NZ batter had a strike rate of less than 150 whereas only 2 English batters strike rate exceeded that."

Ali to Ravindra, FOUR, What a way to win it... Or lose it, as Wood allows a cut from Ravindra to go through him for the winning runs. Convincing from New Zealand, winning by 6 wickets to square the series 2-2! Excellent hands from Seifert, Phillips and then Chapman at the end. England will lament throwing away Jonny Bairstow's positive start, but credit to Mitchell Santner (3-30) and Ish Sodhi (2-21) for applying the squeeze

Curran to Chapman, FOUR, Wow! Short delivery clobbered ferociously beyond Carse at deep midwicket. Carse didn't even have a long way to go. Superb striking and now the scores are level...

Curran to Ravindra, 2 runs, Short again, this one a little sharper, but Ravindra plays this smartly, rolling his wrists as he swivels it down to fine leg
