8:09pm: Right folks, that's all from tonight and this side of London. Join us north of the River Thames on Friday for the fourth and final match of this peculiar series. So long!
8:04pm: Here's Ben Stokes, player of the match for his 182 from 124, taking the highest ODI score off Jason Roy (180 v Australia, 2018): "Coming back into the team after a while out, it's nice to come back and help the team. I apologised to him (Roy) upstairs. It's a good wicket. I think the conditions did actually change once the lights came on. We spoke about putting NZ under pressure, especially up top.
"As the experienced players, you want to be showing the guys to go out there and do that. Sometimes it doesn't always happen. Today we wanted to put more and more on them. Boulty was good with the new ball but you want to put good bowlers off their line."
On Dawid Malan, who scored 96 and shared in the stand of 199 for the third wicket: "Mala is a very consistent player. He's a quality player and he comes in and everyone knows what he's about. I enjoyed batting with him. Not only did we take the boundaries but we managed to rotate the strike as well. We got a good thing going. Rather than get in there and let it peter out, we tried to put them under the pump as much as possible."
On his knee, which saw him off the field at the start of New Zealand's chase: "I just needed a little bit of treatment. Test matches are longer, but you get a break. One-day games you don't get that! It's just different but these first three games have been good. It's getting better and better."
