Scorer: Chandan Duorah | Commentator: Alan Gardner

8.10pm: Hats off to the Black Caps, it's been fun having them as always. The English summer is not quite done, with Ireland in town for another ODI series next week. This one won't feature any of England's World Cup-bound players - or at least that's the theory, pending a change of plan to get Jason Roy some game time, or Harry Brook finally forcing the selectors' hands. Anyway, Miller's report should be your next port of call and we'll be back to bring you the action from Headingley on Wednesday. Until then, thanks for your comments, and well done for being patient - the World Cup is almost, almost here. Cheerio!

7.55pm: Time for the presentations at Lord's... first up, Dawid Malan is Player of the Series, after scoring 277 runs in three innings: "Good fun, especially scoring some runs here at the home of cricket and leading into a World Cup. It was a bit slow, when they built pressure I found it hard to score. But we built partnerships and got up to 300, which it what we were aiming for. [Joint fastest to 1000 runs] Fantastic, didn't know the stat but great one to have. Trying to break into this team, you either have to be a freak or being consistent, and that's what I've tried to do, put match-winning performances on the board. Gutted in the last game, did the hard work and to get out that way. But to do it today and back it up, to contribute to the win is unbelievable. [World Cup] Extremely excited, a dream come true to play for England, part of the squad and when it's confirmed it'll be great to go."

New Zealand captain Tom Latham: "Can't say I've hard four injuries [to deal with] before as captain, important for guys to stand up. Halfway, we thought the pitch was on the slow side, but we couldn't build partnerships, so not ideal. [Making up bowling] Yeah, was turning to different guys at different times. I thought Daryl Mitchell did a great job, bowling six overs at the far end. [Southee] He's in good spirits, will be assessed further and fingers crossed for the World Cup. [Ravindra] He bowled really well, took his opportunities. Pleased with how he's gone about things in these games. When you get to a World Cup, it's slightly different and who gets up on the day. Few things we want to improve on and good to be put under pressure. [Williamson] Great to have him here, been involved and progressing his rehab. Hopefully he gives himself a chance for that first game."

England captain Jos Buttler: [Pleased] "Yeah, think we've got better and better. Wanted to play our style of cricket and been true to that. [Malan] He's played fantastically well, today was a fantastic hundred. Putting bowlers under pressure and being aggressive, he read the game very well. Thought it was a good score, wicket was a bit slow. Good toss to win. Had to get off to a good start with the ball and we did, got early wickets. [Moeen and Livingstone] We know what they can do, gives us great depth. [World Cup defence] Well positioned, we're building nicely. Trying to go there and win but in the same position as every other player. It's an exciting time."

7.45pm: Dawid Malan leads the England players off, his imperious 127 more than double what anyone else managed in the match. NZ suffer another big defeat, finishing their eight-match white-ball tour in the same manner in which it began - but of greater concern will be the injuries sustained here, with Tim Southee's World Cup in doubt after he suffered a fracture/dislocation of his thumb. A word for Rachin Ravindra, though, who did a fine job with the ball and then gave a glimpse of his class with the bat; my colleague Sampath tells me Ravindra is only the third New Zealander to take a four-for and score fifty in the same ODI, and the first person ever to do so at Lord's

Curran to Ravindra, OUT, Curran slips in the yorker, that's all folks! Full and straight, lights up the zing bails, and Ravindra's resistance is over. England win by 100 runs, and seal a 3-1 series win ahead of flying to India for their World Cup defence

Curran to Ravindra, no run, back of a length outside off and sliced towards point

Sam Curran now. Ravindra certainly knows how to bat, with three List A centuries and a first-class best of 217 (made while a team-mate of Carse's at Durham, if I'm not mistaken)

Carse to Ravindra, FOUR, full toss, helped away fine! Scrambled seam but off target and Ravindra skims it for another boundary

Carse to Ravindra, no run, follows him outside leg, possibly a slower ball and Ravindra skews it into the covers

Carse to Ravindra, FOUR, four more, smoked through cow corner again! Waits for the short one and mows it hard and flat through that vacant part of the ground
