Well, there you have it. South Africa vs India on February 2, 2025 is the next time we'll see you. Thank you all for your company today. Commiserations to England fans, congratulations to followers of India cricket.
Roshan: "Will it be repeat of 2024 Men's Final. Both team unbeaten in the tournament."
India captain Prasad: As a captain, I am really proud. As a player, I am really happy that we are one step closer to lifting the trophy. We've been working hard to this day and we are one step closer. Coming into the SFs, we knew England would come hard at us. They started really well but we wanted to stay calm and bowl good balls and get quick wickets. I think all of us are clear about our roles. Everyday someone or the other takes the responsibility for the team. All set for the final. No nerves. We are really excited and want to go out there and dominate."
England captain Norgrove: I think we just went with positive intent. We tried to play in a positive way. But credit to Perrin, who batted amazingly. We were in a semi-final, lots of pressure, a first for most of our girls. I think we just have been a tight-knit group, we gelled well, we put everything out there. Even these interviews are not the best for me, but enjoyed captaining England. Our families and friends are who got us here."
Parunika Sisodia, Player of the Match: "Want to thank the team for the support. Bowled on the same spot. Let the ball do the work. I bowled more to batters instead of doing single-wicket practice. That helps me. I need a batter in front of me to try new things. [Final] That is the wish and that's the goal for all of us here."
4.07pm Kamalini wears a big smile as she takes her helmet off and meets her team-mates. The target was far from enough for this blistering Indian batting line-up even though it was a two-paced track with lots of cracks and plenty of wear and tear. Back to back fifties for Kamalini, by the way. She's in terrific touch, as was Trisha, who fell for 35. But it would be unfair if credit for the win doesn't go to the bowlers. England were 72/2 after ten overs and their score could've been a whole lot more. But Sisodia, Aayushi and Parunika came good during the big moments.
4.04pm The Indians are joyous. England heartbroken. Players from both sides hugging their team-mates, although the emotions are very different. India complete a triumphant dominating win. Now up ahead are South Africa, both teams unbeaten entering the finals.

Vijay: "India will win by 9 or 8 wickets and we will still have comments which will lament as if England lost narrowly due to catch decision.
Vish: "Irrespective of legality of that decision I don't think the outcome would have been always different for this match. Ind is cruising towards victory so I guess we should move on now!" -- who knows though!
