10.24pm With that seven-run win, Australia take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series. We will get more information on Alyssa Healy's fitness in the coming days, I am sure, but they have maintained their incredible streak of series wins. The last match of the series will be on Tuesday at the same venue, so do return to catch the action then. This is Abhimanyu Bose signing off on behalf of Ashish Pant and K Vairavan.

Bhalchandra: "This series is great advertisement for upcoming women's IPL. "

10.13pm Time for the presentation ceremony.

Australia's stand-in captain Tahlia Mcgrath: "[On having to captain] Very last-minute, thrown into it. But couldn't be prouder of this team. Yeah, new to the role and thrown into the deep end, but have had some help. The bowlers all stuck to their plans. New wicket, played reasonably similar, produced some turn, but really good wicket. Calf strain, she's with the medical team, we'll see how she goes."

Ashleigh Gardner is the player of the match. "I think every single pitch we have played on while here in India has been fantastic to play on. I just think it was really crucial what lengths you bowl. I know if you pitch it up, it's easier to hit straight down the ground. So I was just bowling it into the ground. It's important to be able to mix up your lengths. I know T20 cricket is quite batter friendly and everyone just assumes that when you come to India there will be lot of spin, but in this format you don't expect much turn."

Harmanpreet Kaur: "I think we were in the game throughout but just one over here or there can make the difference. Yes definitely, if I were there till the end things would have been different. But still, after I got out I had faith in Deepti and Richa. I think the 18th over where we scored just three runs was what made the difference. I think all the young girls who got to play against this Aussie side got a lot of experience. I am really proud of how we bowled in the first 10 overs. We won a lot of areas today and I am really proud of that. [On not bowling] I picked up an injury during Asia Cup, so just batting right now"

Ellyse Perry: "The game's continuing to evolve and grow and you have to go with it. I'm really enjoying the opportunity batting with this group. Grace was absolutely amazing tonight, so was Ash Gardner. [On talks of her T20I future] I'd be disappointed in myself as a sportsperson if I got involved in those conversations. To me sports has always been such a joy and it's been such a privilege to be part of this team and to play for as long. It's been nice to be able to play the way I have in the last couple of games but even nicer to just be involved with this team. I've been right here (laughs). Nothing's changed too much. Different roles for different teams. As I said just got to evolve with the game. Never seen the crowd pull out their mobiles and turn on the flashlights and support a team like they did in the Indian innings. For me that's just amazing. The IPL is going to be amazing. [Excited for women's IPL?] Tremendously. Next frontier for the women's game. We've seen what the WBBL has done for women's cricket in Australia, the Hundred in England and the next step is the women's IPL in what is the spiritual home of cricket."

10.00pm Another thrilling chase, but Australia held their nerves in the end to seal the series with a match to go! With Perry, Gardner and Grace Harris powering them to 188, and the Indian openers out in the powerplay, they were in a good position. But first Harmanpreet and then Richa threatened to take the game away from them with some fine knocks, but in the end, the target was too big and India fell short by seven runs. The spinners, Gardner and King, did well, picking two wickets each. Gardner especially was critical, giving away just 20 runs to cap off a fine all-round performance.
