11.3 Tripathi sprints to his left and snaps up a splendid catch on debut! Angles this on off, was a bit short as Nissanka goes back to heave it away. He does not enough connection, but seems to have placed it well. But, Tripathi runs to his left and completes an excellent take. The ball was going away from him, but he made sure he kept his composure close to the deep midwicket rope. The third umpire is called for, just to check if that was a clean catch. It is! 96/3
8.2 Another massive appeal, the umpire has a close look and once again is unmoved! This one, though looks very close. Hardik takes the review. And this seems to be a good call from him. Slider on middle and leg, Mendis is caught on the crease, as he looks to tuck it to midwicket. Misses, and DRS confirms the ball would have smashed into leg stump. 80/1
9.1 A 147 kph thunderbolt from Umran cleans up Rajapaksa all ends up! Umran gets that to angle into Rajapaksa, who looks to open the face of the bat to third man. Is beaten by the pace and can only chop it back onto his stumps. 83/2
15.5 This one is taken by Gill at deep midwicket! Back of a length on middle stump, he backs away looking for a similar result to the second ball. This time, though, he does not get the required connection and ends up heaving to the fielder 138/5
13.4 Axar gets his second and Sri Lanka continue to slide! Fuller angling on middle stump. He charges down the track, but is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. Loses his balance, and the bottom-hand grip only send it as far as Hooda at long on 110/4

15.6 Knocks him over first ball with a pacy 140kph delivery! On a length on off, Hasaranga plays from the crease, looking to meekly push it away. Is beaten all ends up and sees his off stump take a walk. Umran is pumped and why not! 138/6

1.1 oh too good. Rajitha bowls the regulation inswinger to the left-hand bat, Kishan sees it is a touch full and goes for the big swing over mid-on or further wide. The ball seams in after pitching, creating further distance. Off stump flattened 12/1
1.6 oh a nothing shot. Reminiscent of the Dhananjaya no-look chip to mid-on in the last game. He just stands tall, and looks to pick this up over the leg side. However. the ball pitches short of a length, and then seams away. All he gets is a leading edge. Easy catch 21/2
2.1 they are on fire here. A dream ball for a left-arm swing bowler. Shaping to swing in from just outside off, drawing the drive, but the ball pitches and seams away to take a nice little edge through to the keeper 21/3
15.5 and they finally draw a mis-hit big enough. Looks like the slower ball to me, which he hasn't picked. Is looking to loft this over wide mid-off, and this is not a slower ball. It just swings a little but late. And he ends up checking the shot a touch, and ends up offering an easy catch to long-on. For a second I thought even this one might clear the field. That would have been time for bowlers to retire from this game 148/6
4.4 there's No. 4. Superb bowling, superb catch. He moves across, but the feet are still rooted to the crease. It gives the ball enough time to straighten as he tries the big drive. Healthy edge, and a flying catch to his right by Kusal Mendis 34/4
9.1 this was a'comin'. India were not getting runs, and a risk was imminent. Hasaranga is good enough to sense that, and keeps the length well away from the swinging arc of the batter. Hooda tries to pull, but ends up toe-ending it to long-on 57/5
19.3 and that's the game. Shanaka, the last-over hero. This time with a full toss. Heartbreak for Axar. this is a high full toss, but just under the waist. It means it has cramped his swing of arms slightly. He still manages to hit it all the way to long-off. A couple of metres more on it, and it can be a six. But it isn't. Axar has to go 189/7
19.6 another high full toss, Mavi looks to hit hard, gets a thick edge to extra cover. And the series is now levelled 190/8
