Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: Alan Gardner

8pm: That's a wrap from the Mirpur ODIs. Andrew Miller's report is in the slot for you to climb into, and we'll be back for more 50-over frolics down in Chattogram on Monday. Thanks for your comments, from myself, Matt and Ranjith, it's cheerio for now. Bye!

7.45pm: Time for the presentations, starting with Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal: "I was a bit disappointed with the way we started with the ball. There was a bit of help for the spinners, and I was disappointed with the way we bowled the first four-five overs. We missed a run-out which was important. Roy and Buttler batted exceptionally well. When you lose, you can point fingers. I'm not going to do that. We didn't do well as a team, and that's why we lost. [Shakib partnership] When you lose three wickets in first three overs it becomes difficult. We took a bit of time but when you're chasing 326 sometime you have to go. The intent Shakib showed was good, we took our time but it didn't work out today. [Third ODI] We would like to finish on a high, disappointing to lose but credit goes to England."

Jason Roy is Player of the Match: "Spent a lot of time playing a lot of cricket in the subcontinent. Today I had to dig deep with those skills and put on a few. [Slower start?] Needed to give myself an opportunity today. First game, bit of a rush of blood, played a poor shot against the spin and today I wanted to make sure I batted time and gave myself the chance to score runs. [Partnership with Buttler] Unbelievable, with Jos coming in we rotated the strike really well. Moeen Ali and Sam Curran, too, those three guys scoring as freely as they scored was incredible."

England captain Jos Buttler: "Fantastic series win, Bangladesh are a formidable team at home so we're delighted to get the win. Spoke about areas to improve from the last match and we really did that. Jason Roy did fantastically well with the bat, guys chipped in around him and then we made a fantastic start with the ball. Spoken before that these conditions we find the hardest as a team, so to play like we did today was a massive achievement. Our standards were much higher than the first game. [Chattogram] Talked about adapting to conditions and playing in a variety of ways. We'll asses the conditions and play accordingly, there's lots of guys putting their hands up and putting up performances, which is fantastic."

7.32pm: Bangladesh's unbeaten run in ODI series at home comes to an end with a whimper. England were the last team to win here, too, led by Jos Buttler as Eoin Morgan's stand-in back in 2016-17; Buttler has the job full time now, and this is his first ODI series win since taking charge in the middle of last year. Lots that went right for England, starting with Jason Roy's hundred at the top of the order; Buttler, Moeen Ali and Sam Curran fired lower, before Curran knocked over three cheap wickets with the new ball. Adil Rashid then cleaned up, 4 for 45 moving him clear in third place on England's ODI wicket-takers list

David: "England win without .. Livingston, Brook, Bairstow… Stokes, Archer and of course Joe Root a scary thought when they all come back"

Bhalchandra: "World champion in ODIs proved their authority to end Bangladesh's unbeaten home run"

Matt Leonard: "Jason Roy was the literally difference today, the exact amount of runs he scored was difference between the two scores."

Curran to Taijul Islam, OUT, nicks him off, that's the game! Good length in the channel and it nips away, finds the outside edge as Taijul looks to open the face towards third. No five-wicket bag for Curran, but he's finished the job. England win by 132 runs and take the series, 2-0 up with one to play

Curran to Taskin Ahmed, OUT, chopped into the covers... and a direct hit does for Taskin! I think he was ball-watching, and he's out by a few inches. Good pick up and throw from Moeen at mid-off, and Taskin's weaving run and half-hearted stretch for the line brings an end to his fun

Taskin Ahmed run out 21 (28m 21b 4x4 0x6) SR: 100.00

Curran to Taskin Ahmed, no run, goes short again, pace off and Taskin swings hard, deflects the ball off his back

Curran to Taskin Ahmed, no run, short ball, Taskin pulls and it comes off something... did Buttler get to the catch? Umpire Palliguruge isn't interested, but England review. Definitely got to the ball before it was ground, but the shot came off his elbow! So no worries for Taskin there

"What do you mean 'his slower ball?' Jade Dernbach had two slower balls - the one that got hit for four and the one that got hit for six." I see what you did there, Ilanin. He was a visionary - just sometimes unable to work out what he should bowl in the here and now
