Scorer: M Venkat Raghav | Commentator: Aaditya Narayan

1:50pm: That's all we have from the coverage of this Test, and from Ireland's tour of Bangladesh. Thanks for joining us, hope you enjoyed our company throughout the course of the last four days. On behalf of Shashwat Kumar, S Sudarshanan, Binoy George and M Venkat Raghav, this is Aaditya Narayan saying goodbye. Cheerio.

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan: Normally we don't play on this kind of weekend. Credit goes to Ireland, they fought really well. Taijul bowled really well as far as our bowling is concerned, and in the second innings, all the fast bowlers chipped in. There are a lot of areas where we can improve, this was a match where we could experiment with a few things. We tried to do that, some things came off and some things didn't. I thought we were positive enough, and the wicket suited the way we wanted to bat. That's one area where we are looking to change our approach, and that worked in the match. I wouldn't say this was an ideal Test wicket, but it was a good batting track.

The Player of the Match is Mushfiqur Rahim, for his 126 and 51*. Throughout the Test match, it was important to show character, there was nothing in the deck for the bowlers, so they had to fight really. When you are playing on a deck like that, you need to start really well, the positive intent is really important. Tamim and Litton batted well upfront in the second innings, if Ireland took two or three early wickets, there could have been pressure on us. We want to be consistent in the longer format, the way the bowlers took 20 wickets on that pitch was incredible

Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie: We showed a lot of grit. We all really enjoyed playing Test cricket again, you have to show a lot of fight, which we did, but obviously it wasn't enough in the end. It's a learning curve for us, understanding that when you win the toss and bat in these conditions, you have to score more runs and bat much longer periods of time. We did that in the second innings. So many things to be happy about, Andy was brilliant with ball and bat, Lorcan with his century, Harry with two fifties in the match. We loved it here, thanks to everyone at the BCB, we'd love to be back in the future and hopefully play better cricket.

1:32pm: Ever since bowling Ireland out for 214 in the first innings, Bangladesh were in control of this Test. A century from Mushfiqur in the first innings, to go with fifties from Shakib and Mehidy gave them a lead of 155, which looked like plenty when Ireland were reduced to 13 for 4 late on Day 2. But a sensational rearguard raised Irish hopes, with Lorcan Tucker's century complemented by fifties from Harry Tector and Andy McBrine. 138 was always going to be a little too meagre a target to defend, and so it proved, with Bangladesh getting there after scoring over 5 runs an over. Mushfiqur's 51* to go with 126 in the first innings might have put him in leading contention to win the Player of the Match award. Stay tuned as we bring you the presentation ceremony in a bit.

1:30pm: So Bangladesh win a Test after losing eight of their last nine. This is their first Test victory since beating New Zealand in Mount Maunganui last year. Both Bangladesh and Ireland line up in a guard of honour for umpire Aleem Dar, who's officiated in his last Test as an ICC Elite Panel umpire.

McBrine to Mushfiqur Rahim, 1 run, and there it is. Bangladesh win by 7 wickets. Short and wide outside off, Mushfiqur punches this behind square on the offside, backward point does the fielding, but they rush through for a quick single

A chance for Bangladesh's batting star of this Test to hit the winning runs now

White to Mominul Haque, no run, review called, but this one should be futile. Length ball pitching on middle and turning down leg side, Mominul leaves it alone, and gets hit on the front pad, but the impact is umpire's call on leg stump, and it's going on to miss the leg stump

White to Mominul Haque, SIX, Smashed! Tossed up just outside off, Mominul gets down on one knee and slog sweeps well over the midwicket boundary
