Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Don't go far away, as the second game of the double-header between TSK and MI NY will start shortly. Time for me to hit the sack. Thank you for your company as always. This is Rvel Zahid, signing off on behalf of K Vairavan

Glenn Maxwell, Player of the Match: We're fortunate with the conditions and Saurabh picking wickets at top. It was nice to get some help from the wicket. There was little bit of spin, little bit of inconsistency. It was a good day and nice to go at the top as well. I'm absolutely loving not having to bat; great to give my body a bit of rest. Smudge (Steve Smith) is doing a great job as a leader and opener, very fortunate to have him.

Clinical win by Washington Freedom with four overs to spare and they'll remain unbeaten and comfortably secured at the top of the points table. This resounding win will give a massive boost to their net run rate. It was a brilliant all-round performance with both ball and bat. The bowlers hit the right areas as LAKR's batters played quite a few unwise shots and, as a result, were bundled out for 129. In reply, Head and Smith broke the back of the chase with their blazing strokeplay. The openers have been consistent for WSF, which is making life easy for the middle order. WSF have seven points on the board while Knight Riders drop down to No.5 with three points. Saurabh Netravalkar just knows how to pick wickets; he pegged them back with two vital scalps in the powerplay and finished with another couple of wickets towards the end. Hands down, WSF's spinners bowled much better than their opponents as Maxwell applied the squeeze with his wily spinning methods. WSF needed one stable partnership to track this untaxing total down, and the Aussie duo didn't disappoint. They stitched one solid partnership at the top and thus made light work of the chase, capping off another win. They are the side to beat in this tournament.
