That is two wins out of two for DSG, who are now on the top of the points table. Today's win over SEC was set up by Smuts and Pooran's fifties, before a combined bowling effort restricted the hosts. Anyway, the SA20 rolls on, as the double-header Saturday gives way to a Sunday afternoon fixture. Thanks for your company tonight, as this is Himanshu signing off on behalf of Thilak! Take care!

Jon-Jon Smuts is the Player of the Match: "Pretty good wicket. The opening partnership set the platform for us. Bit of luck went our way. Nicky P and Heinrich also got us to 225. I know this wicket pretty well; spent a lot of time playing on this wicket. Just happy to contribute here today for the team. We've got a very strong squad. On to the next game, and hope we can get the momentum going"

Keshav Maharaj, the winning captain: "Little more of a clinical performance today. The batting was phenomenal.. Jon Jon played a role. Nicky did what he does best. It's just great to see everyone's putting their hand up. Gleeson got off the flight the other day, but he still executed. The crowd was exceptional. PE is always a special place. It's about assessing each game as it comes."

Aiden Markram speaks first: "It was a good game. The general cricket lover would have appreciated the game. Not at our best... probably we could have been better from the execution point of view. It's quite frightening what guys can do these days (referring to Abell's efforts)! If you don't take wickets regularly, they (DSG) are going to hurt you. Certainly no panic, but time to learn."

Time for the presentations

9.04pm SEC fight back, but still fall comfortably short of their target of 226. They lost two wickets and managed just 16 runs in the first four overs, threatening to hit back only during the stand between Abell and Markram. They added 93 off 52 balls, but it wasn't enough. Stubbs tried to limit the damage by smashing 55 from 26 deliveries, as only three SEC batters entered double figures, courtesy Topley, Gleeson and co. Hang around for the presentations.

1
Pretorius to Baartman, 1 run, on a length on middle, as he looked to pull but got it on his pads
19.5
W
Pretorius to Worrall, OUT, sliced to short third! Simple catch for Topley right in front of his chest. A yorker-length ball on fourth stump, as Worrall opened the face of his bat to guide that, but ended up chipping it to the fielder

Pretorius to Worrall, no run, quite full, and just outside off. Looked to slash, but was beaten

W
Pretorius to Stubbs, OUT, fires in a length ball and he appeals for lbw. The umpire raises his finger immediately, even as Stubbs reviews while walking back. It pitched on a length on middle and leg, and angled in to hit his front leg, which is slightly outside leg. Stubbs looked to swing but missed, and replays show the ball would have hit the leg stump

1
Pretorius to Harmer, 1 run, full delivery angling into his pads, and whipped to deep square
19.1
2
Pretorius to Harmer, 2 runs, ahh, Dala from deep midwicket runs and slides wayyy to his left, and takes it on the bounce. Full ball on the stumps, and Harmer had a hoick at this slower ball

Gleeson to Stubbs, SIX, great attempted by Pooran at long-on! He leapt over, with the ball even kissing his right hand before dropping behind. Nearly a yorker just about on off from Gleeson, as Stubbs launched it back from deep in the crease, and raised his fifty
18.5
2
Gleeson to Stubbs, 2 runs, the ball goes up miles in the air... and lands short and wide of Pooran running forward from long-on. Another slower ball from Gleeson, who bowled on a length around off, as Stubbs has a go at that across the line
18.4
2
Gleeson to Stubbs, 2 runs, drags this yorker on the stumps to long-on, and they pinch two as Pooran fumbles
18.3

Gleeson to Stubbs, no run, nearly chopped on! He looked to swat-pull this short ball just outside off, with the bottom edge falling falling on his back leg. Good slower ball from Gleeson

1
Gleeson to Harmer, 1 run, fuller side of a length just outside off, and pushed to point for a quick single

W
Gleeson to Dawson, OUT, taken at deep point! Dawson falls now. Gleeson bowls on a short of a length, and pretty wide of off. Dawson went slashing at it away from his body, and though he hit powerfully, it wasn't enough to clear the substitute fielder on the rope

LA Dawson c sub (CJ Dala) b Gleeson 1 (3m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Aayush: "Topley at least partially responsible for that run-out" --- Not really, given he was only on his way back to the bowling mark, and his leg just hit Stubbs

Topley to Stubbs, FOUR, reverse scooped over short third! He shapes to loft it behind, with the length ball on leg arriving at a good bounce
17.5
2
Topley to Stubbs, 2 runs, fantastic work by Paul! He runs to his right from deep point, and pulls it back last moment. It was a full toss again which was angling across, as Stubbs sliced that away
17.4
1
Topley to Dawson, 1 run, slower ball at 108kph, and a low full toss on the stumps. Swiped to deep midwicket

W
Topley to Stubbs, 1 run, OUT, low full toss on the stumps, and whipped to deep midwicket! And, and... there's a run-out too. This is what happened: Topley bowled a yorker-length ball on middle, which Stubbs swung across the line to deep midwicket. They completed the first, and just as Stubbs turned around to take the second, he was hit by the bowler's right leg. Stubbs' initial expression was that of him getting seriously injured, but that wasn't the case, even as Swanepoel was halfway down the crease, running himself out in the end

B Swanepoel run out 8 (16m 7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 114.28

17.2
4
Topley to Stubbs, FOUR, over the bowler's head! Another powerful strike for six. He got across the stumps early, and read this yorker-length ball ending wide of off. Replays show this is tight, with the ball barely landing on the bottom of the toblerone. But it's called four in the end, amid boos from the crowd. Looked surprising in real time and also in slow-motion replays
17.1
0
Topley to Stubbs, no run, on a length, and angling across to end wide of off. Stubbs has a hoick across the line, but is beaten by the slower ball

From here, it's all about how much of SEC's net run rate can Stubbs manage to control. Topley back.

16.4
2
Gleeson to Swanepoel, 2 runs, another yorker on off, which is pushed to long-on for two more
16.3
2
Gleeson to Swanepoel, 2 runs, it's a good ball, a good shot, and good fielding. First, Gleeson bowled a yorker-length ball just outside off, with the ball angling across. Swanepoel sliced to deep backward point, where Paul ran and slid to save two
16.2
1
Gleeson to Stubbs, 1 run, slower ball, and full on the stumps. Nudged to long-on, and they can get only a single
