That's all from us at ESPNcricinfo. See you tomorrow for more SA20 action. Goodnight!
8.58pm Chat with the captains and the POTM coming up.
Heinrich Klaasen, the POTM:" (Difficulty of this surface) The wicket was up and down. Had to go a little old school and go hard for our runs. Had to graft. (Comparing tough pitches vs better pitches) Just different ways to get eight runs an over. Need to run your twos so fitness is important. Then you pick a bowler with a favourable match up. (Purple patch going on) I think the hard work I put in before this competition - my game plan and my bat swing. My mental game as well, I've been staying humble with my feet on the ground."
Keshav Maharaj, winning captain: (Toss) Was a catch 22, wanted to use the dry wicket first. Klaasen gave us a decent total to defend. (Home advantage and local knowledge) If you look at the teams last year who did well, they did really well at home. We want to make this place a fortress but need to focus on a daily basis. (Target initial assessment) With the wickets we kept picking up, we felt it got bit too much for the Super Kings. The bowlers stepped up for us. The boys were calm and the dividends paid off. (His own bowling) I've been working really hard, and enjoyed getting that reward."
Faf du Plessis, losing captain: "(Disadvantage batting second?) I don't think it was one. It was an average wicket for both innings. Someone like Klaasen is someone who is a world apart in the country at the moment, but outside his innings it was hard for everyone. It felt like when we walked off, 140 was par, but proved not to be. I think 130 would've been nice. We felt like we should learn from their mistakes but it was a tough wicket. With the wind it was difficult to get boundaries when teams are bowling to a plan. (How to get back on track?) Individuals can pull you. You need someone to play that one good innings... and the confidence runs through in the team. (What can you say after this kind of loss?) Important to keep working on things you can get better. Need to look at what works at Paarl (their next venue) next."
8.51pm Fireworks go up at the Kingsmead as the Durban's Super Giants continue their unbeaten run at the SA20. For Joburg Super Kings, they remain winless after three games and now have lost two games rather convincingly. A target of 146 was gettable on this pitch but the early squeeze from Topley and hometown hero Maharaj really strangled JSK. A terrific start to the season for the side that failed to qualify for last season's semis.
The star of the day for DSG? Heinrich Klaasen surely. On a sticky surface where nobody found batting easy, Klaasen's shot making was remkarkable and without his innings there would've been no defendable target tonight. Gleeson's pacey spell was exciting too, while Smuts' overs with the ball proved crucial as well. A terrific Monday at the office for the hosts.
Nick: "Topley is really one of the best bowlers of his generation. Such a pity is career is dented with injuries!"

only six sixes tonight.
Super Kings need 55 in 12 balls. Haven't seen that scored before in T20 league cricket before. Unlikely that tonight will be that night
END OF OVER:18 | 10 Runs | JSK: 91/6 (55 runs required from 12 balls, RR: 5.05, RRR: 27.50)

DaWolf: "JSK were 32/0 after 5 overs. 49/6 in the next 12. Just atrocious batting." -- The Hendricks and Ferreira dismissals were probably avoidable
Reminder this is the last game in SA20 for Gleeson and Pooran
Topley is back.
