That is all of our action for today. Thank you for tuning in. Signing off on behalf of me, Vairavan, and the rest of the ESPNcricinfo team.

Kyle Verreynne: "(How happy are you with that win?) Yeah, very happy. It's been a tough couple of days. So yeah, excited to get that bonus point. Hopefully, we can take it forward. (Team effort) I think we're nice and clinical with the ball, we started really well and I think we just sort of pressed from that, and then with the bat we lost a couple of wickets but I thought the guys had finished it off, they were awesome. Felt like a really good wholesome team performance and I think that's the most pleasing going into the last three games. We've only played the two games at home so far, so sort of coming back. Yeah, I think we're quite comfortable playing here. Made a few changes. It's always nice to get some fresh faces inside and I think that probably just brought a little bit of extra energy and extra fight that we're maybe lacking in the last couple of games. Hopefully, we can continue doing that. (How much do you enjoy the captaincy?) I love it. I've done it back domestically for a few years now. It's a great opportunity. Great. A great tournament to do it in. So far so good. Hopefully, I can continue to go up. (Clinical with the DRS) (Laughter) I got 50 50 which the Academics will tell you is a pass. So I'm doing all right so far as a captain (Laughter). (Team talk) I think firstly, how proud I am of, how they went about it today. And then obviously there are two games left but in theory, there could be five games left and I think it's just about keeping that in mind. Making sure that we don't sort of switch off, We take in everything that we've done well today and make sure that for the last couple of games, we continue to do that. And yeah, I think like our stress of the boys just make sure that they have a lot rest. That's probably going to be key going into the last couple of games. Play with a smile on our faces and we'll probably get the best out of ourselves.

Faf du Plessis: "Frustrating day for us, one of those days we felt like a lot of things went wrong but strangely in this competition, there were a few of those games. The team batting first expected to get a big score on the board, then it's almost just bundled out for between 100 and 120, and then the team came in second, making it quite easy work. (Pitch) Yeah, so it was a strange one for me, assessing it. It looked really good when we were standing at the top of the coin toss there. But after facing a couple of balls, really, I've not played a lot of games at SuperSport Park, where the first ball of an off-spinner is turning and bouncing like that. So just a really dry surface and obviously, the nature with the night games, generally at SuperSport, the ball, always skids on a bit more, but still, even on a pitch that was tricky to bat on first, I feel like you need to be in the mark of around 140 and give yourself a chance at night. We didn't scrap hard enough to try and get to that total. (Why teams don't do that scrap at all) So I think it's a combination of teams that don't knuckle down and change the method of trying to get to 140. Because you still think that SuperSport Park Is a 180-190-200 wicket. So you feel like you need to get there. But I do think just looking generally over the country, I feel like the pictures have been a little bit different than when you're used to playing on them, it's not all the big guys scoring T20 games to the roads. So the bowlers would be happy. As a batter, you need to adjust. There's no one way that a wicket should be, but I feel like in general this comp, there's been a lot of bonus points which generally tells me that the wicket or the toss plays a big role. But even with that as a team, you need to be more competitive. Like I said, if we batted well on that and 140 you're giving yourself a chance, probably still not enough at night but you're still giving yourself a chance. (Top 4 chase) We just make sure, every guy is responsible to just to pick up his own energy. They don't doubt in you to make sure that you come and you fight the next game, the nature of the competition luckily is so that I think we need one win from the next two to qualify. We've got two games at home. We've been really good at home. So I suppose the form that we've got at home is something we can fall back onto. But yeah, today was disappointing."

Player of the Match Migael Pretorius: "Yeah, it was good (winning the match). I think we obviously have a lot of changes. And it's good that everyone came together and did their thing. But obviously, my own performance, I'm happy with it. And that's what we practice for. I think it's the first time I have bowled in the Powerplay in the start and, gotta enjoy it a little bit, and keep myself some time for the nerves to settle. But I enjoyed it and it was good as I enjoyed bowling at the end as well. (Bowlers plan) I mean we try and simplify things a little bit more, we've seen that the top of the stumps is probably the best ball to bowl. And I think for us, for me, the biggest stress is landing your yorker and trying do that the best you can. But we try not to go in too much in every batter. It will just drive your mind crazy. So it's good to keep it simple. We do have a little bit of strategies for every batter but try and keep it simple as much as possible. (A favorite wicket today) Definitely the bowled wicket of Bairstow (Laughter). Yeah, I have to say it's that."

So, after making five adjustments and bringing them into the lineup, the Capitals played as a whole squad, dominating all three departments of the match. They won the match with 8 overs remaining and also grabbed the bonus point. There were many misfields and dropped catches during the innings from the Super Kings' fielders. The Capitals lost three wickets in the Powerplay, but it didn't matter much because they were chasing a paltry 100-run mark. Ackermann had an immediate impact at the crease, slamming the ball all over the place, scoring 39 runs off 22 balls and relieving pressure. Sipamla was superb with the ball in hand tonight, taking three wickets with his variety bowling. With tonight's victory, the fourth spot in the Playoffs remains open. The Pretoria Capitals' net run rate has increased significantly, and this win might be crucial as the tournament progresses. Post match presentation ceremony coming up shortly.
