9:15pm Right. That will be that from us for tonight. Hope you enjoyed our coverage, and we hope to have your company tomorrow as well, with the Pretoria Capitals taking on the Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Till then, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of M Venkat Raghav. Goodbye, goodnight and take care!

9:10pm Wow, that was some game. It ebbed and flowed throughout but just when it mattered, the Super Kings held their nerve. They produced a superb death-bowling display, which ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides, considering the Super Giants shipped 91 runs in their last six overs. The visitors' spinners also rose to the occasion, conceding only 79 runs in the 12 overs that they bowled, including a couple of crucial wickets.

There was plenty of batting class on display too. de Kock nearly turbocharged an improbable run-chase. Unfortunately for the hosts, none of the batters apart from Mayers provided de Kock the sort of support he needed. That was in stark contrast to how the Super Kings batters joined hands with Ferreira earlier in the evening, ensuring that they posted a total that was ultimately beyond the Super Giants' reach.

Joseph to Paul, 1 run, Joburg Super Kings win! Back of a length delivery on middle and off stump. Paul heaves it towards short fine leg, and gets just a single

Keemo Paul comes out to face the last ball

Joseph to Pretorius, OUT, searing yorker on middle and leg stump. Pretorius walks across his stumps and in the end, is unable to access the ball. It kisses the outside of the pad and then flies through to the keeper. Joseph appeals for the lbw, and sees the umpire raise his finger too! Nothing on Ultra Edge, and Ball Tracking returns with three reds! Pretorius has to make the long walk back!

Joseph to Holder, 1 bye, off-pace delivery on a back of a length on off stump. Holder does not have a clue about it and only connects with fresh air. Pretorius, though, sneaks in a bye

19 off 3. Three sixes and we will go into a Super Over

Joseph to Pretorius, 1 run, length delivery slanted into the batter on middle and off stump. The ball hurries onto Pretorius and he can only jam it off the inside edge into his thigh pad

20 off 4 now. This one needs to clear the fence from the Super Giants' perspective

Joseph to Holder, 1 run, very full delivery on middle and leg stump. Holder drives it towards extra cover but gets just a single

Joseph to Holder, no run, back of a length delivery on middle and off stump. Holder does not quite pick the slower one and swings too early. Swing and a miss

21 runs needed off the final over against Joseph. Surely the Super Kings will not botch this one up?
