A slightly anti-climactic end but what an innings this has been, it has elevated RCB out of the doldrums and given them a fighting chance! 144/6

16.4 two in the over for Gayakwad! Another short ball outside off and this seems to just bounce a smidgen extra. Wareham cannot get on top of it and slices it towards Harris at point. Harris judges the trajectory well, stoops down and snaffles up the chance smartly! 125/5

1.2 cleans her up with an absolute ripper! Gives this a little more air on a length on middle stump. Grips in the surface and straightens. Healy gets squared up and has a hopeful prod at it. Sees the ball sneak past the outside edge and hears the death rattle soon after! Just the start RCB would have wanted! 10/1

8.1 Vrinda's vigil comes to an end! Looped up on a length outside off. Vrinda, feeling the pinch of the scoring rate, comes down the track and swishes at it. Only connects with fresh air and Ghosh does the rest behind the stumps. Vrinda walks back after a 28-ball 18, and with the required run-rate climbing! 48/2

8.3 McGrath bites the dust too! Zipped in full on leg stump. McGrath perhaps pre-meditates the sweep and picks too full a ball for the stroke. Sneaks under her bat and crashes into leg stump. Asha is pumped, and the Chinnaswamy crowd is up and about too! 49/3

16.4 no need for DRS this time! Slowed up delightfully on a length on middle stump. Harris wants to smash this into next week and swipes across the line. Hares down the track without reading the length and is a fair distance away from the ball. Slogs wildly (and perhaps blindly) at it and misses. Ghosh collects cleanly and demolishes the stumps with Navgire stranded! A five-wicket-haul for Asha and she has turned the game on its head! 128/6

By then it is too late and she plays down the wrong line. Practices the straight drive after hearing the death rattle, and that was perhaps what she should have done.
