Gets pinned on the front pad and the umpire has no hesitation in raising her finger. Looked pretty straight, but Veda has reviewed this nonetheless. Only thing that could save her is an inside edge. No inside edge, and Ball Tracking returns with three reds. MI have the early breakthrough they would have wanted! 3/1

2.4 that looks pretty straight too, and Ismail is breathing fire in Bengaluru! Back of a length on middle. Nips back sharply and traps Deol on the crease. Pins her in front and the finger goes up again. The only question was whether this was going down leg , and we go upstairs to find out. No bat involved and Ball Tracking shows it would have hit the top of leg stump. Three reds and the Giants lose both of their reviews, inside three overs! 11/2

5.2 Sciver-Brunt gets Litchfield! Off-pace on a full length outside off. Litchfield skips down the track, trying to smash it over mid off. 7.3 skies it, and holes out to long on! First wicket for Matthews this WPL! Throws up the bait on off stump and Hemalatha bites. Comes down the track, trying to clear long on but gets nowhere close to the pitch of the ball. Swipes at it anyway and shanks it straight down Kerr's throat! 52/4

13.2 miscued, and Gardner bites the dust! Dangles the carrot outside off and Gardner cannot resist the temptation to have a pop at it. Advances but is beaten in the air. Has to reach out way in front and chalks it off the toe-end. Ismail tears across to her right from long off, settles under it and does the rest! 78/6

13.4 hot knife through butter! Beautifully-disguised wrong'un that pitches on a length just outside off. Rana has no clue this is the googly and plays for the turn. Leaves a huge gap between bat and pad, and the ball breezes through, knocking back the stumps in the process. The Giants are crumbling! 78/7

19.4 stumped by a mile! Floated up nicely on a length outside off. Kanwar hares down the track, only to realise she is nowhere close to the ball. Swings herself off her feet and misses the ball completely. Yastika does the rest, and this excellent partnership comes to an end! 126/8

19.6 another stumping! Darts this in again, on a length on leg stump. Tahuhu advances and slogs across the line. Does not pick the one coming in and is beaten on the inside. Yastika keeps her eyes on the ball, collects and takes off the bails. 126/9

2.2 Yastika falls early! Full on the stumps and Yastika's eyes light up. She thinks he can chip this over the bowler's head but loses her shape completely because of the late swing away from her. Slices across the ball and offers a simple catch to Veda at mid off! 19/1

3.4 long-hop hit straight to deep mid wicket! Matthews will be kicking herself. This was there to be hit and she got into a decent position too. Perhaps a little cramped for room because of the ball coming in, and she picked out Gardner to absolute perfection. The Giants are right in this game now! 21/2

7.4 that could be close! Shortish outside off. Harmanpreet goes back and dabs it towards short third. Sciver-Brunt is always struggling to complete the single and in, fact, is just short of her ground. Excellent throw by Kanwar and superb work by Mooney with the gloves! 15.6 big appeal, and given! Reviewed straightaway! Length delivery angled into off stump. Kerr looks for the scoop again and seems to miss. The ball flicks up off the pad and is caught by Mooney. Not sure if the umpire gave it out as lbw or caught-behind. Looks like it is an lbw review. No bat involved. Impact is in line with off stump and the ball is crashing into off stump according to Ball Tracking. Kerr has to go! 115/4

16.4 knocks her over! Flighted up deliciously on a length on off stump. Vastrakar plays for the turn but the ball keeps coming back in. She is beaten in the flight too and cannot get to the pitch of the ball. Sneaks in between bat and pad, and rattles the stumps. Kanwar and Mooney are pumped, and perhaps they still believe! The umpires did check if the Giants had enough fielders inside the circle and after watching a replay or two, the third umpire was satisfied that there was no infringement. 118/5
