Puts in a sprawling dive but is caught just inches short. The throw was accurate enough and Ghosh was quick to whip off the bails. Calls Litchfield through for a non-existent single and Litchfield is caught well short of her ground at the batter's end, despite putting in a full-length dive. 18.4 Gardner departs first ball! Wareham tosses it up outside off and Gardner has a pop at it. Swings at it with all her might but the bat face opens upon impact. Slices it in the end and Bahadur does the rest at long off. The first wicket to fall to an RCB bowler tonight, and this could help them keep the Giants down a total below 210! 192/3

19.1 wicket first ball! The Giants are losing the plot here! Fizzed through on a length outside off. Grips in the surface and spins away. Hemalatha steps out, has a wild swish at it and misses. Ghosh collects and takes off the bails before Hemalatha can get back. The flurry of wickets continues! 195/4

19.5 third run out of the innings! Short and wide outside off. Mooney does well to reach it but cannot do much with it. Hits it straight to point and calls for the single. Veda is not even in the frame as Ghosh collects the throw athletically and then flicks it onto the stumps! The square leg umpire went upstairs for this. 6.2 Meghana has been run out, oh dear! Length outside off. Meghana gets on top of the bounce and jabs it towards deep cover point. She decides to come back for the second but she is never really looking like she will make it. Huffs and puffs and falls a yard short (at least) as Mooney collects the throw and whips off the bails! 42/2

4.1 and Gardner traps Mandhana lbw! Back of a length on middle stump. Skids off the surface and rushes Mandhana into the pull. She seems to miss it and gets pinned on the back leg, right in front of the stumps. Umpire P Jayapal taks his time and then raises his finger. Mandhana, though, has taken this upstairs. Only question is whether this was sliding down leg. Impact is on leg stump and the ball is going on to hit leg stump, flush. Mandhana has to go, and she takes a review along with her! 31/1

13.1 edged and gone! Perry walks! Full outside off. Perry, feeling the pinch of the dot balls, tries the reverse-paddle. All she manages, though, is a feather through to Mooney, who snares it sharply. Another nail hammered into the RCB coffin! 96/4

10.1 cleans up Devine! Slowed up on a length outside off and bowled from well behind the crease. Devine hares down the track and has a wild slog across the line, despite not being to the pitch of the ball. Goes past the bat and crashes into the outside of off stump. Massive, massive wicket, and the Giants are overjoyed! 76/3

15.6 skies it, and Ghosh bites the dust! Rank fulll toss outside off and Ghosh, nine times out of ten, would have dumped this into the stands. On this occasion, though, she slices across it too much and the ball goes straight up. Meghna calls for it at cover and takes the catch without any fuss. The umpires, though, are checking if the ball was above the waist. Did not look like it in real time, but replays will make that story clear, one way or the other. Well below the waist, and Ghosh has to go! 129/5

18.6 Wareham has been run out! Full on off stump. Bahadur walks across her stumps and bunts it towards long on. The second always seems difficult but Wareham has to take that risk to get herself on strike for the start of the final over. Stretches every sinew but cannot quite get there as Meghna takes off the bails. An amazing cameo, but not enough to get RCB past the finish line tonight! 167/7

18.3 full outside off. Wareham sits deep in her crease and razes it towards deep extra cover. Molineux decides to come back for the second to keep Wareham on strike but is well short as the bowler does the rest. RCB lose another, but Wareham, importantly, is on strike! 163/6

19.6 there it is! The Giants are off the mark in this season, and they finally have some points on the board! Hard length outside off. Bisht hacks at it and miscues it down to long on. Miscommunication ensues thereafter, which leads to Bisht being stranded half-way down the track. Gardner does the rest, and an evening of run-outs ends with another! 180/8
