14.5 edged and taken! What a ripper! Length delivery in the channel that seems to nip away just a shade and might have bounced a tad extra too. Madushka goes nibbling at it without any foot movement and gets a feather through to Tucker, who makes no mistake! Massive wicket for Ireland! 64/1
84.1 Karunaratne wafts at it, and gets a nick! Full delivery hung outside off stump and Karunaratne, after a long vigil, finally loses patience. Throws his hands at it without any foot movement and gets the faintest of nicks that is gobbled up by the keeper! Excellent knock by the Sri Lankan skipper, though, take nothing away from it! 373/4

73.6 huge appeal, and given! Ireland finally have a wicket! Full delivery angled into middle and off stump. Mendis gets down on one knee and looks to sweep it away. For a change, though, he plays all over it and misses the ball completely as it raps him in front. The umpire has given this out but Mendis wants to have another look. Nothing on UltraEdge but Mendis has gotten a huge stride in. That does not matter on this occasion, though. Three reds on Ball Tracking, and Mendis has to walk back! 345/2
76.2 One brings two! Short, wide and Mathews could have hit that literally anywhere. It is so wide that Mathews can't quite reach it properly. He throws his hands at it anyway and gets a feather that is snaffled up sharply by Tucker behind the stumps! 348/3

89.6 And Jayasuriya must go! Campher gets this even straighter and he's hit on the front pad in front of middle and leg. It looks like it could have been sneaking down leg, but both Chandimal and Jayasuriya decide it best not to risk wasting a review. 390/5
95.1 And he's trapped him first up! What a start for McBrine, as this one pitches just outside off on a good length turns in towards middle. Crucially though Dhananjaya decides to go back, while the ball keeps unexpectedly low. Raps him well below the knee roll, and that is plumb! 408/6

25.5 Cleans him up! A beauty from Jayasuriya to get rid of McCollum, my word! This drifts and dips on middle, middle and leg, and spins past the forward defence. Top of off his disturbed. That was just too good. 85/5
1.1 yes, he can! And he produces an absolute corker! Full delivery that seems to be honing in on middle and off stump, only for it to shape away at the very last moment. Commins plays for the original line and is completely flummoxed as the ball breezes past the outside edge and knocks back the top of off stump! 0/1
1.5 two in the over! What a catch that is by Madushka! Ireland in all sorts of trouble now! Full delivery on the pads and Balbirnie could have hit that anywhere. He gets it right out of the middle but hits it close enough to short leg, who gets a hand to it and manages to parry it into the air before completing the catch! 4/2
23.1 Edged and gone! Another dipping, drifting one tossed up. Draws Tector into the drive, but is beaten by the turn, and only manages to edge it to Dhananjaya at first slip, who pouches it gleefully. 74/3
23.3 And Jayasuriya has two in quick succession! This one was tossed up once more, and Campher goes for the big drive first up, but slices a looping catch straight to cover. 74/4
31.4 Jayasuriya gets his fourth! Another beauty, just drifts in and turns away. Moor pokes at this on the front foot and gets a faint edge through to Samarawickrama. 92/6
51.1 huge appeal, and given! Tucker reviews! Full delivery fired into off stump. Tucker looks for the sweep but this time, he misses it altogether. The ball sneaks past the bat and smashes into the back leg. Was the impact outside off, though? Nothing on Ultra Edge, and now, it is time for Ball Tracking. It comes up and the impact is Umpire's Call! The ball then goes on and scrapes the outside of off stump, meaning that the on-field call stands. Tucker has to go! 143/8
39.3 And Jayasuriya has his fifth Test five-for! This looked pretty plumb, as it pitched on off and went on with the arm, past the inside edge on the forward defence. Ireland have reviewed nevertheless, more in hope I suspect. And three reds confirms the bad news, that was crashing into the top of middle. 108/7
52.3 huge appeal! Full delivery darted into middle and off stump. McBrine defends with bat and pad close together, and Sri Lanka appeal, thinking it has hit the pad first. The umpire does not think so, though but Sri Lanka want to have another look! Hang on....this looks like it might have hit the pad first, and in that case, this could be very close. Ball Tracking comes up and returns with three reds! That will be that for Ireland in this innings! Ireland have been bundled out for 143! 143/10
51.3 stumped by a mile! Jayasuriya has seven! Flighted deliciously on a length outside off stump. Adair comes down the track and looks to force it through the off side. The only problem is that he is nowhere close to the pitch of the ball. It rips past the outside edge and Samarawickrama does the rest behind the stumps! 143/9

10.1 and right on cue, Jayasuriya gets McCollum! Flighted beautifully on a length outside off stump. McCollum thinks the cover drive is on and throws his hands at it. He is not to the pitch of the ball, though, meaning that it spins just enough to take the outside edge and nestle into first slip's palms! 24/3
1.3 taken! Commins bags a pair and he falls to Vishwa both times! Full delivery angled into middle and off stump. Commins plants his front foot and then has an awkward stab across the line. The ball might have just held in the surface and takes the leading edge. Ramesh Mendis does the rest at point, and Ireland are in early trouble, yet again! 0/1
5.1 and that ploy works immediately! Back of a length delivery in the channel that angles in before pitching and straightening. Balbirnie has a nibble at it without any foot movement and gets an outside edge that flies through to first slip, where de Silva snaffles up a sharp chance! Vishwa has two with the new ball and Ireland in all sorts of bother now! 8/2
39.5 oh dear, that is catastrophic for Ireland! Angled into the batter again and Tector pushes this one down the ground. He then sets off for the single, only to see his partner rooted to the spot. Tector tries to turn and scurry back but in that endeavour, slips and loses his bat mid-way. He sprawls across the turf but it at least a yard and a bit short of his ground at the batter's end! 108/7
12.6 huge appeal, and given this time! Full delivery angled into middle and off stump. Like he did about an hour ago, Tucker misses his sweep and gets pinned on the front pad. The umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger but Tucker wants to have another look at this. If there is no bat involved, this could be curtains for Tucker. Nothing on Ultra Edge, and Ball Tracking shows that the ball would have hit the top of middle and off stump. Umpire's Call on that count, and Tucker has to go! 32/4
15.1 what a catch! Madushka does it again at short leg! Back of a length delivery on leg stump that might have bounced just that tad bit extra. Moor tries to play it down but hits it close enough to Madushka at short leg. He stays low and snaps up a very sharp chance! This is the second time he has pulled something of this sort this game, and Ireland are now five down! 40/5
36.4 what a catch that is! Madushka has done it again, would you believe it?! Full delivery well outside off stump. Campher plants his front foot outside the line and looks for the paddle. He gets a decent chunk of it too but he has not accounted for Madushka anticipating it brilliantly, and then plucking out a sharp chance out of nowhere! He moved as soon as Campher got down on one knee, and was rewarded handsomely in the end! 100/6
53.5 Thinks long and hard, and eventually the finger goes up for LBW! Ireland review. This pitched outside off from around the wicket, and then spun back sharply past the inside edge on to the front knee roll. Dharmasena took his time, and in the end he was spot on, as this shows three reds. 167/9
44.3 taken at second slip! Mendis has three! Given a bit of air again and this one lands right where Mendis wants it to - on a length on middle and leg stump. McBrine has a poke at it but because he is not to the pitch of the ball, the ball kisses the outside edge and lobs up towards second slip, where Kusal Mendis does the rest! 131/8

54.1 And that should be that! Ireland have reviewed this LBW, but it looked plumb. This pitched on middle and off on a good length, straightened and went past the outside edge on the forward defence, and struck the back pad right in front of off stump. And yup, the three reds confirms that Sri Lanka have won by an innings at 280 runs! 168/10
