Scorer: @Thilak_Rama | Commentator: Rvel Zahid

Thanks for following our coverage and hope you enjoyed the thriller. Do keep an eye on the upcoming Men's Hundred match between the same teams. Until next time, this is me, Rvel Zahid, waving goodbye on behalf of Thilak Rama and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo.

Match Hero Heather Knight said: "I tried to get in and then flicked the switch at the back end. Beating the Brave here is really tough to do so I'm really chuffed with how we went today.

"We knew it was a good wicket. They probably got 10 or 15 too many, we dropped a few catches. Danni Wyatt played a remarkable innings, she's so hard to set fields to. But I knew if we had a set batter, with a quick outfield, we could catch up quickly.

"You can try and overhit early in your innings. It's about being really clear on the ball you're trying to hit for four. I didn't have many at the start but once I was in it felt like I could really put my foot down. The scoreboard sometimes gives you no choice but to do that. It paid off today."

London Spirit have kickstarted their campaign with an excellent victory, coming back from a precarious situation to snatch it from Southern Brave. There were some wobbles in the chase but Heather Knight was hellbent to stay until the end. She took the game deep and delivered the decisive blow, neutralizing every bowler and finding boundaries at key moments of the game. The counterattack worked brilliantly in her favor. Credit to Georgia Redmayne for providing a quick start at the top and giving the middle order the launchpad to take it home.

Adams to Knight, FOUR, A nothing delivery on middle, no real turn, it's in the slot and she launches it downtown for a four. London Spirit have stunned the defending champions with a stylish victory. The day belongs to Heather Knight who was so composed and played an absolute blinder of an innings to guide her to team to the doorstep of victory

Adams to Knight, 2 runs, Over the wicket, length on middle, shimmies down a little and then whips it away to deep midwicket, keen on taking the second run and gets it comfortably in the end, excellent running!

Bell to Knight, FOUR, Chomped down the ground for four, mid-on and mid-off were up in the ring, she stepped away to on side and had room to free arms, such a cool and calm head, batting so beautifully, knows where the fielders are and the composure is praiseworthy, only five left

Bell to Knight, 2 runs, Almost in the blockhole, she exposes her stumps and plays a glorious late cut past short third, ball loses pace and backward point manages to flick it inside the rope

Bell to Burns, 1 run, Too short and offers width, that's a hit-me ball, slapped away to sweeper cover who makes a brilliant diving stop, crowd are on their edge of their seats, it's been a nerve-jangling affair and we still don't know who will get over the line

Bell to Burns, no run, Oh, this is getting spicier! Don't go anywhere. Length ball, wicket to wicket, diffident block back to the bowler, need to bring Knight on strike!
