Deepti Sharma, Match Hero: I think all credit goes to bowlers. We had a meeting and executed really well. I think personally I'm used to these kind of conditions, wicket is slightly on the slower side, sometimes skiddy, but we managed it really well in the first innings and second as well. See, I like challenges and really like to bowl in those kind of situations. We only focus on our games and yeah we will sit there and (see) the other games.
Our statsman Sampath Bandarupalli pings: "London Spirit will be eliminated only if Oval Invincibles and Trent Rockets match ends in a tie/washout and Welsh Fire don't lose. Welsh Fire's NRR will go below London Spirit's NRR if they lose by any margin against Southern Brave."
London Spirit breezed past Northern Superchargers in a lopsided contest. The game was set up by the Spirit's bowlers, who were miserly right from the powerplay and kept the batters on a leash, not allowing them any momentum as they huffed and puffed their way to a sub-par 99. Alice Davidson-Richards' gritty 33 provided some impetus to the innings but overall, it was a struggle of epic proportions. Eva Gray and Danielle Gibson were cagey and, later on, the spinners made life tough for the batters.
In reply, Meg Lanning went all guns blazing, smashing the ball to all parts of the ground. Although her fireworks were short-lived as she got a bit carried away, it was still a high-impact innings. After losing three wickets in the powerplay, Spirit needed a partnership to stabilize the innings, which they found in Heather Knight and Deepti Sharma. The duo got the team back on track and prevented any further slide with a calculated and measured approach that took the wind out of the Superchargers' sails

Dan: "A tie chasing 100 and now this match. NSC have been their own worst enemy at times this season and can only blame themselves for not qualifying"
