3.4 Sticking to her guns, not giving any leeway to free arms on this occasion, tosses it up and gets little bit of dip, she leaned forward for a hoik and played down the wrong line ending up making a mess of her stumps, Phoenix draw first blood courtesy of some excellent bowling 28/1
14.4 Holes out to long-on! Couldn't get underneath it on this occasion and didn't have a lot of oomph on this occasion, speared it quicker on middle, she wanted to bludgeon it down the ground but found Perry who took a comfortable catch. She has done plenty of damage in this blistering innings 118/2
19.2 Touch fuller and not giving width, clobbers a pull towards midwicket and scampering for a second but struggling, not even in the picture as Jones quickly whips off the bails and even the full-length dive couldn't save her, excellent work in the field, not sloppy at all at death, wickets continue to tumble. 148/5
18.2 Couldn't clear extra cover on this occasion, wanders down leg and tries to clatter it over the fielder who ran back (Pavely) and took a stupendous catch, not an easy grab at all. That was swirling away from her but she snaffled it superbly, Kapp couldn't control her swing 144/3
18.3 Launches the ball high and straight into the hands of Bates at mid-off, gone without troubling the scorers as wickets in quick succession allow Phoenix to put some brakes on the scoring rate 144/4

4.2 Stumps shattered, what a sight for the bowler, look away Bates! That is extraordinary piece of bowling from Kapp, bowls at that hard length and gets it to tail back, beating her wild ambitious swing down the ground and it sneaked through her defence, leg stump is uprooted! 32/1
6.1 Wow, what a brute! Sounds the death rattle with a corker of a nip-backer that sneaks through the gate and the zingers are flying everywhere, she was firmly rooted deep in her crease, not anticipating that big nip-backer, gotter with an absolute cracker! OI using the conditions so well 32/3
5.4 Dropped short outside off and gets away with it, square cuts it to cover who makes a fabulous diving stop to her left and Perry was halfway down the track, no chance to get back and keeper goes the rest, Capsey, the fielder, was spot on, excellent fielding 32/2

10.1 Round the wicket, tossed up on middle, flummoxed her with the extra kick and she got cramped for room, chipped in the air and Smale instinctively flicks out her left hand and the ball sticks in it, sharp catch, good reflexes, partnership broken. No loosener to start her over 64/4
12.3 Drags her length back and gets a little bit of turn outside off, she makes room and tries to smash her into the stands but struggles for timing, MacDonald-Gay takes a stellar running catch from mid-off, made fantastic ground 78/5
12.5 Beaten all ends up, zips it quicker on a length and gets it to turn away, Smale takes a few steps out of the pitch and gets beaten by the spin, dreadful death rattle means she has to take the long walk back to the pavilion, looks disconsolate. 79/6
17.1 Round the wicket, fired fuller and she taps it back to the bowler, non-striker couldn't make her ground and has to go 101/9
13.3 Collapsing like a house of cards, flighted delivery on fifth stump line, throws it away as she tries to dispatch it over long-off but hasn't got the distance nor the elevation as Capsey, who is safe as a house, takes a wonderful catch down her throat, fielding has been top-notch! 81/7
16.4 Produces magic with her clever spinning methods, bowls stumps-to-stumps on this occasion, she tried to cut that away but the ball ends up disturbing the furniture 101/8

18.2 Outsmarted her completely with a length ball that turned away viciously outside off, she sprung down the track and missed it completely and that is that, sharp stumping from Winfield-Hill, neat glovework throughout the day Oval Invincibles have won their first game of the season at a canter! 105/10
