Australia win by eight wickets. They always looked in control and it was another chasing masterclass from Beth Mooney, although South Africa made them earn it until those last two balls from Ayabonga Khaka. A solid all-round display from the home side to take the first points of this multiformat series. Alyssa Healy gave them a great start to the chase and her onslaught ended up proving important in breaking the back of it. South Africa had their moments, but were a bit short with bat, ball and in the field. They will have to be at their very best to beat Australia. It's a quick turnaround to the second game tomorrow and we'll be back to bring you that one. I'm off to the Gabba and the build-up to the third day's play will start shortly here. For now, from Andrew McGlashan, it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.

So it's 6 from 6. This has gone a deep than looked likely at the halfway mark. Khaka to bowl. Can she find an early dot ball?
