- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR13.5 what a ball! Nothing wrong that one. What a bowler he is. Angled in at off stump, pitches and straightens, beats the edge and knocks back off stump. Too good 27/29.4 taken at gully! Green in the action. With that wingspan. Full outside off, Chanderpaul goes for the drive, takes a thick outside edge and that's a terrific grab above his head by Green 14/139.3 edged, caught behind! Lovely bowling. Back of a length outside off, McKenzie getting forward, there's some extra bounce and it takes a regulation edge 107/523.3 A horrible misjudgement from Athanaze gives Hazlewood his 250th Test wicket! The nipbacker has been having Athanaze in some trouble for a while now - a few misses and a couple of inside edges. And it is the one that comes back in from a length outside off that ends his stay in the middle in his first Test in Australia. Looks to leave the ball on a length but ended up misjudging it and the ball moves back in to hit the off pole 52/337.1 edged, taken by bucket hands Green! That was travelling. Full outside off, Hodge comes forward to drive, skews off a thick edge and it's snaffled to his left. Standing reasonably close 98/441.2 Catching practice at short cover! A lazy shot from debutant Greaves gives Hazlewood his fourth wicket. He bowls it full and outside off, not really a half-volley. He drives it away from the body and on the up, straight to Labuschagne, who reverse-cups it 108/646.5 One pull too many and Cummins strikes. A loud "nooo!" as soon as Da Silva made contact with that. Another short ball outside off, he looks to pull it from outside off, tries to rolls his bat to keep it down, but gets a top edge. Head gets around from deep square leg and pouches it with a slide 132/748.2 Smith takes an easy one at second slip to give Cummins his fourth. Length ball outside off, Joseph, as he has done for most part of his knock, goes hard at it away from the body and gets a thick outside edge. 133/947.6 A nothing shot from Motie. Backs away and looks to swing over the off side. It was on a length on middle and leg. Ends up skying it high towards backward point. Lyon takes a few steps to his right and takes that. Starc on the board 133/862.1 big appeal, and given! Lyon does the job. Although it's been reviewed, they may as well. Slides on from round the wicket, into the front pad. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR8.1 edged, taken! Shamar strikes with his first ball in Test cricket. Oh, what a moment. Just outside off, good length, draws Smith into playing and it's a good catch at third slip 25/137.3 Edged and taken! Maiden Test wicket for Greaves and Khawaja departs Back over the wicket, he bowls it full and wide outside off, much like he did in the previous over. This time, Khawaja cannot resist the temptation to chase it for a drive. Ends up getting a thick outside edge towards the cordon, where Athanaze dives to his right from second slip to catch that. Khawaja's bottom hand came off as he went for the drive away from the body 113/414.5 Joseph now bounces out Labuschagne! What a start to his Test career already. Bangs it in at 141 kph, Labuschagne instinctively goes for the pull despite not being in complete control. Finds the lone man at long leg to perfection. Motie had to run backwards but does so and takes it just inside the rope. Labuschagne is not happy but Shamar might not know, because he has gone way beyond point in celebration! 45/222.5 edged, taken! He's done it again. What a game he's having. Good length around off stump, Green plays a defensive shot, takes a edge and settles in Da Silva's gloves. Well, well. Superb line and length, what character he's showing 67/373.1 Excellent catch from Hodge at deep square leg! Keeps his eyes on the ball, settles under it and takes it to his left, very close to the rope, maintains his balance and then runs away to celebrate. And that brings to an end a magnificent innings from home-body Head, who walks out with a raised bat. He went for a flick across the line, Alzarri smartly bowled the change-of-pace with the offcutter. Ended up skying it high and the fielder in the deep did not panic and completed the formality 255/843.3 Greaves takes a beauty and Roach has his man! After the previous one that did not carry, Greaves moved a step closer at third slip. Roach angles it on a length on off and middle, from wide of the crease. Marsh gets squared up as he pushes at it with hard hands and gets the outside edge. It carries, just about. Greaves, the debutant, does really well to stay low, catch it and then fall as he overbalances 129/554.6 edged, taken! Maybe no need for a bowling change after all. In the channel outside off, Carey comes forward, regulation outside edge, neat catch by Da Silva to his left. A bit of a half-hearted stroke from Carey 168/667.4 Excellent diving catch from Chanderpaul and Shamar Joseph is off again! Joseph digs it in, outside leg, at Starc's body. He can only hop and fend, after taking his eyes off it. Ends up lobbing it high off the bat to the on side. Short leg runs ahead a couple of steps and dives to pouch that. Fourth wicket for Joseph 222/781.1 and that's the end of the innings. Nice delivery, full with late swing back at Cummins who goes for a drive and is beaten by a long way 283/1080.6 through him! He's got five. What a moment. Goes full, Lyon plays across it and loses leg stump. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.2 what a catch! Travis Head at short leg. Brathwaite flicked this firmly off the pads and Head stays low to pluck out a stunning grab. Head having a great day. Excellent technique under the lid. Brathwaite can consider himself a touch unfortunate 1/21.1 edged, caught behind! Australia have their first. Perfect start from Hazlewood. Full around off stump, makes Chanderpaul play, and it's a thin nick 0/113.2 First wicket for Green on Test return and it is a tame end for McKenzie, who looked so good. Sees a good length ball outside off at 129kph, cannot resist going for a front-foot drive. Picks out Labuschagne at short cover, who leaps and grabs that. WestI Indies slide further 40/55.4 gloves this one! The bouncer does it. Short around leg stump, goes for the hook and it's glanced to Carey. Well, he's called the review. Straight off the glove. 7/39.3 Catching practice for slip. Fourth wicket for Hazlewood as Hodge departs. Fuller and outside off, he goes for the drive away from the body. Not a full stride forward and is also a tad late to the stroke. Gets a thick outside straight into Smith's bread-basket 19/422.5 Huge appeal for lbw, the umpire shakes his head. Did it pitch in line? "I think it pitched in line," Labuschagne is heard saying on the stump mic and Australia opt for the review. Greaves went back to the length ball and missed the flick and was hit on the knee-roll of the front pad. The only question is whether the ball pitched in line, because Lyon is bowling from around the stumps. It did and Australia have a wicket at the stroke of stumps. They are still hanging around, with perhaps the umpires asking Cummins if Australia want the half hour. They decide against it and walk back to the dressing room 73/626.3 taken at deep backward square! The short ball works. A well-directed bouncer, Da Silva can't really resist the hook, picks out Hazlewood on the rope. Poor stroke, really, with the plan so telegraphed 84/730.6 edged, gone! Starc does the business. Length ball outside off, a loose fiddle from Joseph who had done well this morning, a regulation one for Carey 94/831.3 takes off stump! Length ball, angling in at off stump, Motie shoulders arms and wishes he hadn't done. One to go for Australia. Will they need to bat? Five wickets for Hazlewood, a terrific display 94/935.2 Lyon gets Joseph for the second time! West Indies bowled out for 120. Tossed up outside off, Joseph cannot resist dancing down. Does so but makes no contact.
