An extraordinary performance from Hayley Matthews and the West Indies team. A stunning win. It was a staggering display of batting all-round from both sides with records galore but Matthews is on a different level right now. She deserves every plaudit she gets. What a series we've got now. The decider is on Thursday in Brisbane at Allan Border Field and it should be another high scoring game. Join us then to see if the West Indies can fashion an away series win against the World Champions. Thanks for your company tonight.
Hayley Matthews is unsurprisingly player of the match: "I think I've learned more about myself and my batting. The areas I want to access. It's been working really well for me. The leadership of the team has made me take a lot more responsibility. Last game we spoke about learning. We came in with the exact same team for that exact reason. Obviously the last game was a bit tough for us with the ball but we backed the bowlers to come back today and we saw from the start they were right on the mark. We knew we had to go pretty hard early on with the bat. Batting with Stafanie helps a lot and I think she really got into her groove today. To chase down over 200 is something we've never been able to do let alone against the best team in the world. I'm incredibly proud of this squad and hopefully we can keep moving forward."
Sampath Bandarupalli: Seventh consecutive Player-of-the-match award for Hayley Matthews in T20Is. She scored 452 runs at 90.40 average, 138.22 SR, one century and three fifties (The remaining WI batters scored 439 runs in those seven games) and took 15 wickets at 10.60 average with one four-wicket haul and also four catches.
10.24pm West Indies win by seven wickets with a ball to spare! Hayley Matthews and the West Indies have orchestrated the greatest run chase in women's T20I cricket. That was truly stunning! They were 11 for 1 but never wavered as Matthews and Stafanie Taylor kept them on track the whole way. Matthews played one of the best innings of all time. She made 132 off 64 balls. An incredible performance. Taylor made 59 off 41.
Two to win
Gardner to bowl the last. West Indies need 8 off 6
