6.08pm: Presentations time, starting with Alex Carey as Player of the Match: "Quiet winter, nice to spend some time with the family. Earned some brownie points, been a busy schedule so to have time with family is crucial. Pretty cold in pre-season back home, spent some time indoors. [Crowd reception] I love it here, expected that welcome. [Tenth wicket] Hazlewood hanging around at the end did a fantastic job. The big quicks were great. Hardie did a job with the bat and took a couple of wickets. Nice to have an opportunity in this side, it's great fun."

England captain Harry Brook: "We bowled nicely, to restrict them to 270, we did a good job. Obviously we lost early wickets in the powerplay and that killed us. Took positive options to put the pressure on but didn't come off. [Last-wicket stand] Set batter, want to get the No.11 on strike. Didn't think I could have done much different. [Batting] We're a young side, Rash is the highest run-scorer in ODI cricket for us. Inexperienced team playing against one of the best sides in the world - it's about patience, we're only two games in. [On to Durham for third game] So many positives we can take, we've done everything we've said we'd do, just hasn't gone our way."

Australia's Mitchell Marsh: "These days, 270 you always feel a bit shot, but we knew with Starc and Hazlewood, if we took early wickets we're a chance. You always want more [than 270]. Those little partnerships at the back end with the tailenders are vital. [Starc and Hazlewood] Just the experience, when you're defending a total like that. Ball was moving a bit, wickets put them under pressure. Aaron Hardie did a great job as well. Really pleasing win. Big thing is to focus on what we're doing. Playing England in England is a tough assignment. Really pleased with where we're at."

6.02pm: Another pretty comprehensive victory for Australia, who go 2-0 up with three to play in the series. England seemed to be on top, reducing Australia to 221 for 9; but Alex Carey led them up to 270 and that proved more than enough as the chase spluttered throughout. At 65 for 5, the result seemed a formality, and although Jamie Smith made 49 and there was some resistance from the tail, the margin was more comfortable than the scorecard suggests. Australia extend their winning sequence to 14 consecutive ODIs, while England's new-look side are still struggling to find their feet
