7:40pm Right. That brings us to the end of our coverage. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we loved bringing it to you. Plenty of action going around elsewhere in the world. Australia are currently on top against Pakistan in Perth, and you can join Andrew McGlashan and Rvel Zahid as they bring to you all the action. From me, Binoy and Ranjith, it is a wrap for this game. Have a lovely Sunday folks, and take care!
7:30pm A fairly comfortable win for the Black Caps in the end. Bangladesh never really generated adequate momentum during the run-chase and while that could be put down to questionable shot-selection, the Kiwi bowlers played their part by posing tough questions. Clarkson, Milne and Sodhi picked up two apiece, with Duffy, Ravindra and O'Rourke, on debut, also among the wickets.
Coming back to Bangladesh, there were brief patches where it felt they would threaten New Zealand's score. However, those spells of optimism did not last long and they kept losing wickets at important stages. A perfect case in point was when Afif and Hridoy were going strong, only for the pair to depart in consecutive overs.
That pretty much summed up their entire game. Even with the ball, they had New Zealand in trouble at the start, only to wither away that advantage. In contrast, the Kiwis won all the crucial moments in the game, whether it was the partnership between Latham and Young, or the constant wicket-taking.
