10:40pm That will be all from us for this warm-up game. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. There is plenty of cricket lined up today and in the next few days - all of which can be followed on ESPNcricinfo. Until next time, this is goodbye from Monga, Ranjith and myself. Take care, everyone!
Rohit Sharma, India captain: It was fantastic. We got what we wanted as a group. Little unlucky we could not get the whole game. Whatever time we got, we tried to make the most of it and we got whatever (out of what) we had in front of us. Absolutely fantastic (to see the crowd). We love to come to Australia and we love to see them come out and support us. Never been a time when they have come here and not turned up. Really nice to see people coming in and supporting us.
Jack Edwards, Prime Minister's XI captain: He played exceptionally. Good for Scotty, he bowled some overs. Very nice honour. Some big players have represented this team and it has been a nice, few days for the team.
Sam Konstas is the Player of the Match: It was a good experience. Thanks to the supporters for coming.
10:30pm Not quite the two-day pink-ball warm-up fixture India would have envisioned, but they will have taken plenty out of their exploits today. Their bowlers, despite a phase where they took a bit of tap, did fairly well, with Rana bagging a four-wicket haul, and each of the other front-line pacers among the wickets. Jadeja and Sundar also got themselves on the board.
Then, with the bat, almost all of their batters spent time out in the middle. The only two who did not were captain Rohit and Sarfaraz, who was caught down leg late in the day. Kohli and Pant were notable absentees with the bat but India will be happy with how Jaiswal and Rahul negotiated a tricky twilight period against the new ball, not to mention Gill's return to the side and Reddy's intent in a solid partnership alongside Gill.
From the hosts' POV, Boland got some overs in and that could bode well for him heading into Adelaide. Konstas' hundred was also sensational and if Australia were to require batting reinforcements, he has probably portrayed that he is ready.
Last over of the day coming up. Clayton to do the honours
"I think that with the pink ball, it's better to bowl back of length. Because pitching it up, there's not a lot of swing"
