0.4 Whoa! What a comeback! On a length and gets some lateral movement in the air, she leans forward and is early through the shot, Nida Dar takes a regulation catch at mid-off and Pakistan fielders cluster in joy! Bouchier with a feeble push, not really committing to the shot and has perished in the first over 4/1
1.6 She's got her! Oh my word! Can you believe it? Pakistan are on fire. Zips it quicker on a length at middle, she loads up and swings hard but doesn't get the middle and it's an easy-peasy catch for Gull at mid-on. This is some start from Pakistan. They couldn't have asked for a better start. 11/2
2.1 Oh dear, an awful shot! What is happening out there? Haring in and lands it fuller just outside off, she tries to go big downtown and finds Sidra Ameen who pouches the skier wonderfully. England need to calm down and build a partnership, everybody is trying to dominate and go hard from ball one but they're in a spot of bother. 11/3
15.5 Skies this to Mars. Skips down the track and miscues the skier, misses out on her fifty by just one run! Nice flight and fuller, gets it to spin away from off, Gull Feroza, with a safe pair of hands, hangs onto it brilliantly at mid-on 119/6
2.5 Horrible mix-up! England shooting themselves in the foot, this is madness! Pitched up, gun-barrel straight, she drills it down the pitch playing through the line, ball ricochets off Waheeda's shoe and Muneeba collects the throw quickly and whips off the bails quickly, Kemp goes without troubling the scorers. Kemp was halfway down the pitch and it was too late to retrieve, Waheeda picked up the ball quickly and pinged a sharp throw, excellent presence of mind. My word. Pakistan have got a dream start 11/4
12.4 Flighted, and stroked out to deep square, gets a top-edge and Sadia uncouples the experienced pair, it was a low full-toss, she didn't hesitate in going for her favorite sweep shot, Pervaiz sprinted and covered a lot of distance and plucked it out of thin air! What a snare and a huge scalp for Pakistan! 78/5

5.2 Screamer! Jones has taken a gem with her gloves! Nagging shortish length and jags back viciously from outside off, she is cramped for room and edges it to the keeper who dived to her left and snaffled it low with one hand, amazing reflexes 50/2
2.4 Hits her plumb in front of the stumps, was looking to reverse, it kept low, looks pretty adjacent. Good appeal and the umpire agrees. Sidra wants another look and has decided to use a review. Three reds on tracker, hitting leg-stump fully so England get their first breakthrough, they lost the review as well. Just went for the shot a bit too early and she cleverly bowled it fuller as well 23/1
10.4 Terrible mix-up! Length ball at middle, warily nuzzled to short midwicket and just kept running down the track, Sadaf was not interested at all, single wasn't on and Nida left her partner strangled in the middle, Capsey with a pinpoint accurate throw to Jones who removes the zingers quickly, really needless run-out, average running, Nida just couldn't stop herself after taking a few steps down the track 79/4
7.4 Poor improvisation. Inverses her stance and top-edges it to Jones who couldn't have asked for an easier catch. Perhaps a bit too late in going for the reverse, it's a vital breakthrough because she likes to attack and play strokes 66/3
11.2 That hung in the air for a while, didn't get much elevation nor requisite distance, goes for the slog sweep and goes straight into the hands of Bouchier at deep midwicket who instinctively stretched her left hand out and took a superb catch while running, Pakistan captain departs without making a significant impact. Pakistan losing the plot 83/5
12.1 That seems pretty straightforward, no hesitation from the umpire in giving it out. Round the wicket angle, lands it on a length and gets it to slide across her, trying for a delicate late cut and ends up feathering it to Jones who is sharp as a needle with the gloves. Pakistan in dire straits, familiar story. They needed a few partnerships to get closer to the target but the trial against spin seems too taxing 85/6

13.5 Sent miles into the sky and holes out to midwicket, stupendous running catch from Wyatt as Rameen looks crestfallen while taking the long walk back to the pavilion, it was a slow ball angled into the stumps, she got down and tries to slog sweep, didn't get the middle and couldn't control his bat, not a simple catch but she made it look simple 88/7
14.4 Tries to tickle it away to deep third with soft hands, well-bowled, cagey stuff. Length on a tight off-stump line. She has reviewed it though and Tuba thinks she didn't get anything on it, shake of the head as she walks back to the dressing room. There is deflection of the glove and another sharp catch from Jones as Tuba goes without troubling the scorers. 89/8
14.6 Bowled her with a delicious legbreak, stunning delivery on a length that scud through the deck and was bowled quicker as well, she backed away for a cut and the ball sneaked through the gate, hits the off-stump. What a day Glenn is having, four overs, 4/12 and bowled 15 dots 89/9
18.2 Round the wicket, bouncer shoots up quickly outside off, slices it in the air towards point where Kemp is stationed; she is caught, as easy as you like and England win by 53 runs but the margin of victory doesn't tell you how exhilarating this contest was. Pakistan were 50/1 in the powerplay and fought well in patches but not for long periods of time yet they proved they are not a pushover by any means so this could be an engrossing series 110/10
