Scorer: Ranjith P | Commentator: Sreshth and Ekanth
That's the series done. The next time both teams play an ODI will be in the World Cup. Let's hope all players are fit and hit the ground running. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, Sreshth Shah - who was on comms and the match report, and our scorers, Sudeep Poojari and Ranjith P.
Lockie Ferguson collects the series trophy and goes towards his team-mates behind the WINNER banner. The cheers go off as the confetti bursts out.
Lockie Ferguson: Some ups and downs. Nice to get the win. We were under pressure with the way Bangladesh batted but we broke through. When different players step up, it's pleasing. We've had a good week and are also building to what's coming.
Henry Nicholls, POTM: Pleasing. Different conditions for us, but we were here two years ago. Credit to the batting group for adapting. Bowlers did a massive job. Everyone stepped up at different moments. It allowed me time. Nice to chase it three down. When you play internationally, going around and doing well is the big test. Guys did well in the three matches.
Will Young, POTM: World Cup just around the corner. To come up with the first win since 2008 is great. This group plays a lot together, we gel well and it's a lot of fun. Conditions, you don't know what you'll get in India, hope it's similar to these.
Najmul Hossain Shanto: Our batsmen didn't score big runs. Lots got starts but no big scores. Not too worried about batting, know we can bat long. Think it'd have been different if I'd batted till the end. We need two big partnerships. Hopefully, next time batters take responsibility and bat long.
Fresh from the oven: Tamim left out of Bangladesh's World Cup squad
Tawhid: "Can NZ chase the target down in 34.3 overs, the number of overs BD took to set it." Just two balls extra.
8:12pm A perfect game for New Zealand ahead of the World Cup. It was set up by their bowlers, who took new-ball wickets, before the batters ensured the Bangladesh bowlers didn't find the same early success. Allen attacked, Young offered support to see off the new-ball bowling, which gradually improved. Shoriful struck twice on 49 but Nicholls joined Young to bide time and cautiously steer the visitors towards the target. Young got an 80-ball 70 and Nicholls made an unbeaten 50 to take them to a 2-0 series win.
END OF OVER:34 | 11 Runs | NZ: 166/3 (6 runs required from 16 overs, RR: 4.88, RRR: 0.37)
