10.14pm A subdued end to a dominant Indian performance. Contributions from Ravindra Jadeja, on return to the ODI team, the new-ball bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the openers and MS Dhoni. India will be pretty pleased with this performance. They have had the advantage of not having to shuttle between cities, unlike several other teams, but you still got to make those little advantage count. And India have done that very well.

Bangladesh will feel hard done by. You can understand why they weren't able to keep up the intensity. They suffered a tough loss yesterday, had to travel across cities and had to turn up again, less than 24 hours later, in stifling heat, against better opposition. But such are the demands of modern-day international sport and you're expected to step up. Every. Single. Night.

"From the start we kept losing wickets. Today we were just all over the place," says Mashrafe, the losing captain. "I think you still have to back yourself. Not a bad wicket to bat on. We could have made 250-260 but we kept losing wickets. It may have been better to bat in the second half, but 260-270 was still gettable. If you score 170, it's a difficult ask of the bowlers. The batsmen need to take responsibility, especially after failing to score in back-to-back matches. The next match is against a tough team with good bowlers. We need to bat well."

Paresh from Sha: "Congratulations to India, another clinical performance!!"

Surbhi Oberoi: "Is this a solid team for WC 2019 for India? Virat back in at 3 moves Raydu to 5 or Raydu at 4 and Dhoni at 5? Kedar/Karthik/Pandey at 6, with Pandya back in place for Jadu?? Can't have 3 spinners in England"

"It was a clinical performance from the start," says winning captain Rohit Sharma. "We bowled very well and we always knew it was going to be better batting under the lights. Very good from everyone. It was important on a pitch like that to rotate the bowlers and now allow the batsmen to settle. We wanted to rotate the bowlers in shorter spells. It was a challenge for us, but I think they responded well. We always knew if we stuck to tight lines, the wickets would come. Jadeja, playing an ODI after a long time, to come out and bowl like that was a great effort from him. Great effort from everyone, I don't want to single out anyone. Once you're in, you got to make sure you bat as long and as deep as possible. We got to go back and recover. Tomorrow is a day off. Hope to repeat the same performance against Pakistan."

Ravindra Jadeja is Man of the Match on ODI comeback. "Yeah, very happy.. playing after a long time. I always wanted to make a mark, and whenever I get the chance, I play to my potential and do my best. That finally happened today and I'm very happy. Kuldeep and Chahal were putting pressure on the batsmen and I was getting the wickets. I need to play my role in every match and look forward to doing well against Pakistan and the other crucial matches."

Alright then, that's a wrap of this game. Early finish, but if you're following Afghanistan-Pakistan, you're in for a long night. Things are heating up there, so head over if your appetite isn't satiated yet. From Al and myself, it's good night and goodbye. Thanks for sticking around.
