2.44pm And that is a wrap. It's all done and dusted at Kingsmead. Here's my hastily hacked report. From Miller and Chetan, goodbye!

Time for presentations

Charlie Dean is player of the match: "I didn't realise I had a hat-trick, you talked me through it and I was like what's she on about... I could have bowled from either end, I just embraced the drift [from the wind] and went from there. I'm still learning and growing, becoming more consistent, happy to be called on with the bat when needed."

Laura Wolvaardt: "Tough day out, didn't have enough runs on the board, always tough to bat first at Durban, bowled very well up front and lost wickets in clusters. Put up a bit of a fight, 250 would have been nice. We felt it was getting easier as the day went on, in for a decent score if we hung around. Not the way I'd have liked my 100th ODI to have gone. Potch is a nice place to bat, excited to go there."

Heather Knight: "Really pleasing, wanted a strong performance after the other day, Filer set the tone brilliantly, always entertaining to watch her from slips, then a bit of madness in the middle, fun to get funky with the fields. And try and bowl them out. I was close to taking Charlie off, she was threatening with the drift, when we get on top we try to get aggressive and take wickets in clusters. A lot of confidence, good form from us, openers in a tricky chase did a good job, wouldn't have wanted to chase 250. Try and win the series now."

2.24pm Well, that was one-way traffic. South Africa were brawling at 72 for 2, but it all went round as Charlie Dean's hat-trick took centre stage. Beaumont and Bouchier launched the chase with confidence, and there was no looking back even with a steady flow of wickets.
