13.3 huge shout, and the finger goes up! Bangladesh finally have something to show for their toil! The classic one-two. The short ball followed by something much fuller and attacking the stumps. This pitches just outside off and nips back in sharply. Brathwaite, without a great stride forward, goes fencing at it in front of his pad and leaves a gap. The ball breezes through and kisses his back thigh. Seemed pretty out but Brathwaite has taken it upstairs. Bounce is the only thing that could save him. No bat involved, as expected. All eyes on Ball Tracking now and....it returns with the ball hitting the top of off stump. Umpire's Call on Impact, meaning Kumar Dharmasena's decision stands, and the West Indies captain has to walk back! 25/1
74.2 edged and gone! Louis falls agonizingly short of his maiden Test ton and the disappointment is clear and etched on his face! Dangles the carrot outside off and Louis, who has been huffing and puffing in the nineties for a while, bites. Hares down the track and tries to smash it into the ocean. All he manages is an outside edge that is gobbled up smartly at slip by Shahadat Hossain. Applause from those at the ground and from the West Indian dressing room. This was a top knock, but without the fairy tale ending it warranted. Louis will have to wait for his first Test hundred! 224/4
15.5 the softest of dismissals! Taskin goes back-to-back! Slanted in on a length on the stumps. Carty, feeling the pinch to get off the mark, tries to work it to leg. The ball, though, sticks in the surface just enough. He plays too early and chips it straight to Taijul, who was prowling in the mid on region. West Indies in a spot of bother! 25/2
37.3 is that a run out? Against the run of play! The throw from fine leg was low and flat, and Litton had his hands close to the stumps. The moment he grabbed it, he whipped the bails off, and Hodge has to go! He tried to take two after pulling a shot towards fine leg but misjudged Taijul's speed and the power behind his throw! The dive couldn't save him either 84/3
77.4 oh dear - another West Indian batter falls short of a deserving hundred! Tossed up a touch on a length just outside off. Athanaze looks for the fine paddle-sweep but the lack of pace leads to his undoing. Gets a bit of a top edge and the ball spoons up. The easiest of catches for Litton Das, and just like that, Bangladesh have sent both set batters back to the shed! 228/5

84.5 trapped in front? Yes! Full on off, seaming into his pads and he misses the flick. Ball crashes into his pads and umpire Menon is quick to raise the finger. Da Silva reviews but this looks plumb. Could height could be a factor? It is hitting him on the knee roll but he is on the back foot. Technology says that's clipping leg stump. So West Indies keep their review but Da Silva is gone for 14 253/6
86.2 STUNNER! Hasan Mahmud with a peach of a ball. Good length ball around off. Seams away instead of angling in. Alzarri tries to play it leg side but the ball comes off the bat's outside half and flies towards Zakir at gully, who dives to his right and takes the catch with both hands. He's not the tallest of fielders going around and credit to his athleticism for utilising the chance! 261/7
134.3 gone! Bowled him! Mahmud's third wicket of the day - and the third for Bangladesh, as well - as this ends a 140-run stand! It was angled in, and was bowled on a short of a length. The ball seemed to have pitched around fifth stump, and shaped back in sharply to clip the top of middle, as Roach was squared up after moving across in his crease. And incredible stand comes to an end 401/8
142.2 holes out with Hasan Mahmud taking a sharp catch running backwards! Uses the reverse-cup technique to grab it before tumbling backwards. Seales again tried to tonk Mehidy with a slog over cow corner but the ball goes straighter than he'd have liked. Mahmud tracked back from mid-on very well to complete that catch 438/9

10.6 taken at second slip! Joseph had had Mahmudul dropped in his last over, but has him this time! The ball was dying on to the fielder, who did well to grab it barely off the ground. Joseph angled this in, and bowled on a short of a length on off. The ball bounced nicely, and also straightened away, as Mahmudul pushed at it, only for him to get an outside edge 21/2
9.6 chopped on! It is the bail on the middle and leg stumps which comes off! I thought the bail fell almost pretty late after Zakir got the bottom edge. On a short of a length from Seales again, only the line is much tighter this time. He angles this across, and gets this to arrive just outside off. The ball straightens back in, and Zakir has a jab at it with hard hands, and ends up getting a bottom edge 20/1
49.1 full ball on middle. Shape in. Tries to flick, but it raps him on the pad and pops up to second slip. Seales appeals for lbw and umpire Dharmasena gives it out! Mominul reviews. The TV umpire has to make two decisions now: whether the lbw was out or not. And if it wasn't, then whether he got an inside-edge onto his pads before lobbing away to the slip cordon. Technology says there's no bat involved, and the ball is crashing into middle stump. Mominul falls right after getting his fifty! Immediate reward for Seales 128/4
32.2 low catch to first slip! Shahadat looks disappointed having survived for nearly an hour this morning. Pushed this ball slightly further up outside off. Bit of movement too. Dipu gets forward to defend but it takes the outside edge, and Hodge does the rest 66/3
59.4 chopped on! The pressure pays off for the hosts! This is on a shortish length, angling into off stump. Litton thinks he can short-arm-jab this away but gets cramped for room. Only manages an inside edge that smashes into the stumps, and Shamar Joseph is thrilled to bits. Bangladesh slide further into trouble! 145/5
69.5 pops up to short leg! The short-ball plan has worked. He bangs it in again. Mehidy looks to fend off the back foot, but it takes an inside edge. Man under the helmet gobbles it up 166/6
91.5 superb catch by Jayden Seales, and Jaker Ali cannot believe what has just happened! Length ball on middle and leg. Jaker dances down the track and tries to smash it into next week. Seems to get a good piece of it but the ball also seems to get caught up in the breeze. Seales, stationed on the leg-side fence, holds his nerve, tracks it all the way and then takes it over his shoulder in the deep mid wicket region. Jaker gestures that the ball got caught up in the wind, but nothing he can do about it now. Bangladesh lose their eighth, and West Indies are well and truly into the bowlers now! 246/8
88.5 goes right through Taijul and knocks him over! Length ball that pitches just outside off and rather than straightening, this decks back into Taijul with the angle. His feet go nowhere and he pokes at it away from his body, leaving a massive gap between bat and pad. The ball bursts through and thunders into off stump. Joseph wheels away in celebration and West Indies finally break this partnership! 234/7
95.3 has that carried to Athanaze? The umpires want to check, but West Indies are celebrating! Length ball in the fifth stump channel. Leaves the batter late and leaves Mahmud after drawing him into a false stroke. The ball kisses the outside edge and floats through to Athanaze at third slip, who swoops down low and grabs it. The first two angles the third umpire has been shown have not been great. In real-time, he seemed to get his fingers under the ball. The third umpire (Asif Yakoob) now asks for a zoomed-in version but that seems much more blurry than the original replay. Rolls that replay forwards and backwards, and ultimately decides that the ball has gone straight into Athanaze's palms. 'OUT' says the giant screen, and Bangladesh are nine down! 257/9

11.2 well taken at second slip! But hang on, the third umpire will first confirm if it is a fair catch. And it is! Again the fielder is Mahmudul, as Brathwaite runs out of luck! Mahmudul judged this well by going low to his left, with the ball dying on to him. He almost took it in front of first slip, as Brathwaite was squared up by this length ball delivery angling in and pitching around off. But it hinted to shape away, and Brathwaite's push with hard hands resulted in an outside edge 39/3
4.5 gone! An inaudible outside edge - at least for me! Oh, wait, Brathwaite thinks so too - and so Louis reviews after it is given out! Taskin bowled on a length, and around fifth stump. Louis took a good stride forward to drive, but replays show a gap between bat and pad. And then we realise that there is a reason why I'm not an umpire: there is a fine tickle off the outside edge, and Louis has to walk back, while taking away a review with him 25/1
10.4 taken at third slip! That invites a bit of a giggle and a dance move from Taskin. He bowls this on a good length, and around seventh stump. Carty, with no foot movement, goes slashing at it far away from his body, and ends up getting an outside edge. The ball goes right into Mahmudul's lap, leaving West Indies two down inside the first hour, and deservedly giving Taskin his second wicket 35/2
30.4 edged behind! Hodge was beaten only last ball, but can't avoid tickling it behind this time. Taskin got some extra bounce off what was the same line and length as the previous ball. He angled this in, and landed it on a length just outside off. The ball moved away off the pitch, and took off considerably, as Hodge jabbed at it and got a thin edge behind 89/4
31.3 an animated celebrappeal for lbw, and given immediately. Mehidy bowled this on the shorter side of a length outside off, getting the ball to shape in towards off. Athanaze was looking to cut, but there was hardly any room to do that. He missed, and was hit on his back leg right in front of middle and off 93/5
32.4 beautiful ball! Bowled him! Greaves, the centurion in the first innings, is cleaned up! The ball hits the top of off, and Taskin has his fourth, as West Indies unravel. He angled this in, and landed it bang on that in-between sort of a length around middle and off. The ball then seamed away sharply, and hit the side of off stump to beat Greaves' attempted defence on the outside 95/6
36.4 taken at backward point! Good catch there! Taijul good some extra bounce off the shorter side of a length around sixth stump. Da Silva went to cut hard at it, but ended up getting a top edge behind point. The ball was dipping and dying on to the fielder, but he did well to take it low to his left 124/7
41.5 Alzarri looks to go big, and Alzarri bites the dust! This is nicely tossed up, just outside off and Alzarri cannot resist the temptation to swipe at it. Does not get to the pitch of the ball, though, and it stops just enough to take the top edge. Jaker settles under it in the backward square leg region and does the rest. West Indies eight down now! 144/8
46.1 oh my days - put a cape on Mehidy Hasan Miraz! A superhero catch to ensure Bangladesh's superhero of the day finishes with six! Slower ball on a full length just outside off. Roach wants to drive this but is early into the stroke, because he has not picked the variation. Chips it up and seems to get enough to clear mid off until....Mehidy leaps to his right, flings his mitt out of nowhere and makes it stick. Straight into the middle of the palm, and he lays down on the turf, just to soak it all in! That, folks, will also be tea! 152/10
44.5 there it is - a moment to savour for Taskin Ahmed! His maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket, and he kisses the turf in celebration! Searing yorker, honing into off stump. Shamar, with his front foot outside leg, tries to dig it out. Only manages to drag it onto his stumps, though. Taskin is all smiles, and he deserves every bit of this accolade. He has been superb today and he will remember this spell for a very, very long time! 151/9

3.6 edged to third slip! Mahmudul follows Zakir, and that continues both openers' run of low scores. Seales bowled this with an upright seam - but not really like Mohammed Shami - and pitched this on a short of a length around fifth stump. The ball didn't really move off the pitch, except that Seales got some good bounce. Mahmudul was poking at it away from his body, and ended up edging it into Greaves' lap 7/2
0.5 bowled him! Roach strikes in the first over! Bangladesh have yet another poor opening stand. Roach landed this on the shorter side of a length, and around fifth stump. Zakir jabbed at it with hard hands, with the line of the ball being too close to facilitate a proper push or a drive. He ended up getting an inside edge, though 1/1
12.2 superb return catch by Roach! Mominul was dropped twice last over, and runs out of luck this time. Roach went low with his left hand, as the ball died on to him. He plucked it just off the pitch, having angled one length ball into Mominul, who ended up pushing back aerially from middle stump. Third wicket for Roach, and Bangladesh are crumbling 23/4
10.5 what happened there?! Umpire Dharmasena seemed to nod when the West Indies players were appealing for caught behind, but then shook his head! So as a result, West Indies review! Wow, there is the faintest and the barest and the finest of tickles on the bottom of Shahadat's gloves, before the ball went into Da Silva's gloves. Roach bowled it on a short of a length a bit wide of off, and got it to angle in sharply, as it arrived around just outside off. Shahadat looked to tap at it with his gloves quite high, but still managed to get a tickle 20/3
17.4 stop the press, someone has actually held onto a catch off Shamar Joseph's bowling! This is banged in on leg stump, daring Litton to play the short-arm pull he so likes. He gets a decent piece of it too but hits it straight down Alzarri's throat at deep backward square leg. A clean catch and after being crestfallen moments earlier, Shamar roars in celebration. Half of Bangladesh's side back in the shed already! 59/5
27.3 good catch by Da Silva! He tumbles in front of first slip to take this one-handed! It was bowled on a short of a length, and around fifth stump. The ball shaped to straighten away, and Mehidy had a jab at it. But he got a thick edge, and was snapped by up by the diving wicketkeeper 102/6
36.4 a length ball in the line of the stumps. Jaker was moving across to flick it on the leg side but missed. An appeal for lbw - Alzarri didn't even look back and started celebrating. The umpire didn't take long either to raise his finger. Jaker Ali has reviewed it but as soon as the replay showed the ball hit him in front of middle stump, he started walking. The ball-tracking shows it pitched just outside off and would have gone on to hit middle stick 129/9
29.4 bowled him! This shakes the middle stump up! Seales angles this across the left-hander, and lands it on a length around middle and off. But the ball then straightens in, and slams the stump, as Taijul looks to drive, but is beaten by the movement 108/7
32.6 and there is that edge - it was only a matter of time. Having pushed Mahmud back with the short-pitch stuff, Alzarri pitched this one around good length, in the channel, and got it to move away ever so slightly. Mahmud poked at it and wasn't lucky this time. Da Silva completed the catch tumbling to his right 113/8
