10:07pm England captain Liam Livingstone lamented the lack of big scores in the top order after the front six all got starts - including himself, top-scoring with 48.
"That's the test that we've got to come over the next couple of games. It's the rhythm of 50-over cricket - trying to get up to speed and picking up that rhythm as quickly as possible.
"We know someone from our top six needs to go on and get a big score, but we didn't get that today. Fifty overs is a long time. We wanted to try and put the West Indies under as much pressure as we can."
10:05pm Player of the Match is Gudakesh Motie, for his 4 for 41...
"I wasn't getting much turn out of the wicket so I was just trying to keep it on a straight line and keep my lengths.
"Runs weren't coming at both ends easily, which helped me a lot to take four wickets.
"I figured out bowling fast in these conditions was easier [to play] so I was trying to bowl as slow as possible."
9:50pm A comprehensive performance to go 1-0 up. The hosts bowled well to keep a lid on an inexperienced batting line up, squeezing well up top and through the middle - Seales was particularly frugal at the start of England's innings. The rain delay brought the target down from 210 to 157, but West Indies would have clearly munched the former in any case. They ended up seeing off the latter with 55 balls to spare
