Rovman Powell, the regular captain who sat out today, joins the stand-in Roston Chase in lifting the series trophy. Their team-mates then gather to celebrate the 3-0 sweep, which was headlined by their top order as much as by their bowlers. Here's Firdose's report of this rain-shortened third T20I, as we bid you goodbye for the final time from South Africa's tour of West Indies this year. The T20 action in the Caribbean will soon shift to the CPL, and until then, it is goodnight! Take care!

Roston Chase, West Indies captain: "It was a good one [leading this time]. We wanted to win the series 3-0. I just asked the boys to give me victory because you want to start well. The powerplay, we were doing well. I just thought that today the guys came out and applied pressure early. In a shortened game, we want guys to go and play their natural game. Guys came out and played brilliantly."

Shai Hope is the Player of the Series: "Just trusting my game. Prepare and plan well. Got a great support staff. I love to see him (Athanaze). Just hope we can continue... We're playing good cricket. We understand that tournament cricket is so different to series cricket."

Aiden Markram, South Africa captain: "Tough one today. Probably got the tougher of the conditions. That being said, we can improve as a team. It's going to take a little bit of time. It's quite a bit we can take from it. It's never great to lose. I'm sure there's a lot of buzz around Kwena."

Romario Shepherd is the Player of the Match: "It's just about sticking to the process. Today was quite difficult because of the wet ball. The wicket was sticky. I think I'm 70% there; you are never 100% in T20 cricket. To come and clean sweep the team which knocked us out of the World Cup was great."

Time for the presentations

7.20pm A chase of 116 is completed at double the pace by West Indies. They required only 56 balls to wipe the target out, on the way bashing nine sixes and seven fours, i.e., a total of 82 runs in boundaries. It was a slow, gripping pitch, but Pooran's first-ball six signalled what was to come. He clubbed 35 off 13 balls to counter Tristan Stubbs' 40 from 15 for South Africa, before Hope and Hetmyer's rapid unbeaten cameos took West Indies over the line. Hang around for the presentation formalities from West Indies' successive 3-0 win over South Africa this year.

Kruger to Hope, SIX, flung away over the fielder at deep point! Hope heaves liberally at this length ball which is wide of off, but is helped by the great timing as much as by the shorter boundary! With that, West Indies sweep South Africa 3-0 with this eight-wicket win

Just one hit away now...
