5.30pm The Scottish whisky bowl, I've just learned, is called a quaich. Do go look it up, and fill up whatever little receptacle you favour with the beverage of your choice, as we take your leave after a terrific series. We hope you've enjoyed our coverage. Until next time, it's goodbye from me, Abhimanyu and Ranjith.
Mitchell Marsh: "First and foremost we wanted to win, but to see some young guys step up, and guys stepped up at different moments to win us games. It's been fantastic, we play international cricket in all conditions. It's been 15 degrees, a different challenge. A real privilege to come here and play. We get a sense cricket is very popular here, and to come here and play has been fantastic. It'll be nice to have the Scottish people on our side when we go down south." Australia get a traditional Scottish whisky bowl for winning the series. A magnificent little trophy.
Richie Berrington: "It's been a tough week results-wise, but having an opportunity to play against a team like Australia has been fantastic. We need more of that exposure, in front of fantastic crowds. There are things we can do better, we'll always look to keep improving. To see the Grange full and the atmosphere and support we've had has been the highlight. We've shown at times that we're not too far away. There are very small margins when you play teams like Australia, and if you're not on it, they'll hurt you. Brandon McMullen's quality is very exciting to see, and some of the young guys have come in, an exciting opportunity for them. This week has been incredible, credit to Cricket Scotland for getting this series on. We've loved it, and the more we can do this, the better we can get. Hopefully we can see more of this in the future, and we have to learn as much as we can from this experience."
Cam Green is the Player of the Match. "We gave a lot of guys opportunities, and a few guys took it, and hopefully it can lead to some good cricket in our next series. I've had a lot of fun in the IPL, it's a form of the game everyone loves watching, and the cricketers love playing it too. [Best thing about Scotland?] Probably the golf."
5.07pm Another authoritative display from Australia, and another patchy one from Scotland, who impressed in patches but couldn't quite put together a cohestive, start-to-finish performance. Story of their series, really. Cameron Green walks off with an unbeaten 62. It's his highest T20I score to go with his best figures in all T20s. I wonder who the Player of the Match will be...
The scores are level.
