A fantastic game if you're an India fan, even a fan of attacking batting. A night that no one in the crowd will forget. Our statisticians will be kept busy as will our writers. Hope you check it all out and return for the fourth game. For now, thanks for joining. Take care.
Jasprit Bumrah, POTM: I was keeping an eye when Rana and Hardik bowled. When I came on the ball was scuffed up. I'm happy as long as I can contribute. If I'm given the new ball I can do it, same for the death. Feels good to complete ten years. As a kid, I tried to play one game. Fighting pains, assumptions, opinions, aches etc was tough. It's a feather in my cap. Journey continues.
Suryakumar Yadav, India captain This is the brand of cricket we want to play. We know how to bat from 20 for 3. Top two three batters made my job easy. Bishnoi's plans are clear. He knows his strong points. Good to have him in the side, good rest for Varun.
Mitchell Santner, NZ captain Credit to India with ball. Powerplay wickets were key. Knew it'd be a scrap after putting up 150. It was a good wicket. Cutters held a lot, but credit to India's bowlers. 180-190 wicket, to be fair.
Abhishek Sharma: That's what my team wants from me. Not easy to do it everytime. Yuvraj's 12-ball fifty is impossible to beat. It's mental and the support you get from teammates. All batters are batting well, going forward it'll be fun this series. Stepping leg side is about field placement, if I get room then I can hit off side. I just want to play with the field.
Harish: "well done Team India! Next stop is AbuDhabi t10 league. "
Manoj: "The score graph is not a worm. Its a cobra!!"
9:38pm Not even a drinks break, that's how quickly it's done. Appropriate fashion to take the series 3-0. The total was unders, how much was what was to be seen. Dew was a factor, don't think it went that far for it to take full effect. The domination started after ball one, when Samson fell, and Kishan came on. He unleashed, as did Abhishek. NZ changed their bowlers, tried variations but nothing was useful. The whole innings was a highlights package.
Phillips, from around
Another day, another magical spell from Bumrah and the New Zealand batters had no answers
New Zealand made only one change, with Kyle Jamieson coming in for Zak Foulkes
He remains behind his mentor Yuvraj Singh, who still holds the India record of a 12-ball fifty against England in 2007
A 3-0 lead against NZ also hands India their 11th consecutive T20I series (or tournament) win
