Western Australia 208 & 6 for 205 (Philippe 83* Inglis 69, Tremain 4-85) trail Victoria 504 (Pucovski 243, Short 80, Stoinis 4-73) by 91 runs
Just 37.3 overs were possible after a hail storm and heavy rain stalled Victoria's march to victory on day three at the WACA.
Chris Tremain claimed Marcus Stoinis early on the day to leave Western Australia reeling at 5 for 45. But Josh Philippe and Josh Inglis put together an excellent 120-run stand.
Philippe reached his highest first-class score of 83 not out with 14 boundaries while Inglis made 69 before Tremain found his outside edge. Cam Green stonewalled for 16 not out from 40 balls before rain ended the day early.
