7.20 pm Heat scrap out a 14-run win, their third in this BBL. Hurricanes three-match win streak is snapped. After the first hour, it looked like there was no way the Heat had a chance of winning, but James Bazley with a massive boost at the end of the first innings and Heat wind up claiming full points after Bartlett and Mujeeb dismantle the Hurricanes chase. D'Arcy Short's innings will come under plenty of scrutiny. Had he gotten out earlier with the way that Ellis and Rogers were hitting the ball, Hurricanes just may have won but Short chewed up an incredible amount of dot balls.

Heat bowler Xavier Bartlett after a career-best 4 for 30: "We made it hard for ourselves in the end again, but what a cracking game of cricket. I'm really enjoying my cricket back now and it's good to contribute to a win. [Peirson as captain] has been awesome for us. [Power Surge bowling] has been an interesting one. We look now to try to take wickets and not defend. The best way to defend is to attack."

That's all for this match. Flip over to the commentary feed for the Renegades and Sixers about to get underway in a few minutes. Take care!

Wildermuth to Rogers, 1 leg bye, full on the legs, shuffles across his stumps to scoop over fine leg and misses badly, big lbw shout off the pads, given not out as it goes to fine leg for one. DRS would've been interesting on that one. Definitely hitting the stumps, did it pitch in line with leg stump? Hmm....

Wildermuth to Rogers, no run, my goodness... meatball of a full toss at thigh height on fourth stump, but Rogers spills marinara sauce all over himself in the rush to smash it over midwicket and swings straight over the top of it. Sloppy cricket all around.

Wildermuth to Rogers, FOUR, wide yorker, well bowled but played even better as Rogers slices it out off the toe wide of short third man to the rope.

Steketee to Meredith, 2 runs, length ball on sixth stump, slapped to long-on for one. The relay is airmailed over the wk/captain as it eludes Peirson and they scamper a second on the overthrow to put Rogers on strike for the final over needing 22 to win.

Steketee to Ellis, OUT, full on seventh stump at 117 kph, Ellis tries to keep his hands back long enough to drag a heave to long-on but can't get any muscle behind this, sends it flat to long-on. Fielder misjudged it initially coming in too far off the rope but readjusts and Bartlett leaps up with a bunny hop to claim this high above his head five yards inside the rope.
