Just two winless teams now, coincidentally it is both teams that lost today. Hurricanes are off the mark, they seem like a well-planned side and will hope this win will turn things around after the early losses. Renegades will have to wait on Finch's fitness and work on their game to turn things around. You can find out how they go here on ESPNcricinfo, where you'll get all the live coverage, news and updates. Thanks for tuning in, I'm Ekanth, signing off on behalf of our scorers, M Venkat Raghav and Ranjith P, for now.
Matthew Wade, POTM: I had a hit this morning, did at flight in Perth. Thankfully it came up today. Wicket has been good, it's back at the best tonight. They swung the ball early but we got full value for the shots. The pitch gets a sheen on it, the spinners get less effective. With the shorter boundary, it turns it into a good chasing ground. I thought I can push the Surge later, when Zampa and Mujeeb come in but I saw Rogers, it was a late call but we took it. (On the over-rate penalty) I heard Nathan asking the ump when we ran past him. He said 60 seconds till we had to bowl our first ball and we thought there won't be qualms. We went with five out not knowing that. We thought we'd bowled within time, we obviously hadn't. It was an early communication from the umpires and then there was radio silence out there. Obviously, Sutho saw we had just run out of time, on the [score]board. Thankfully, we won and not be on the wrong side of it. Nice to get the first win, we don't have the luxury of playing 14 games this year. Gotta get going early. To get a win getting into Christmas is nice, hope to enjoy the next couple of days.
10:40pm Hurricanes were able to go big in the middle overs with the bat and Renegades couldn't. That feels like the defining factor in this match. The pitch was a belter, Matty Wade and Mac Wright took full advantage of it. Wade was on top of his game from the start. Wright got in his groove after a while. They ensured the early wicket (Jewell was out plumb lbw in the first over after missing the paddle sweep) didn't affect the fireworks production at the Blundstone arena. A couple of noteworthy hits from Wade - a lofted on-drive after dancing down to a pacer and finishing with a glorious follow-through and a slog over long-on, almost like a left-handed Dhoni from the '11 final. Not much to write home about for the bowlers, Zampa and Rogers showed promise but everyone was taken apart. Hurricanes should've got home early, but they got there without too much of a fuss in the end.
Anderson has a chance to finish the game. Ring field in
Bernie: "Thw women bowled 97 overs in the Test today" Yeah, it was 100 yesterday iirc
Two dots in a row.
It's stumps in the Women's Test by the way, against Australia and India. Australia lead by 46 with five wickets in hand
Sutherland to bowl the penultimate over

Five an over needed off the last three overs. Hobart not able to get a big win and an NRR push, at least not as easily as it seemed a little while earlier
