So we'll head down to Hobart. We'll reassess conditions overnight. (Bowling Unit's condition) Yeah. Absolutely. The boys have been hating now the Adelaide Oval. I mean it's good viewing and look, if we put on a quality game of cricket tonight, as I said, we're going down to Hobart next and it might be flat down there, might be a little bit in it but we'll soon see. (Net Run Rate) Yeah, absolutely. That was the reason why we took the Surge early. I'm just trying to really kill the game. We probably could have done it within over two extra again, but that's the way it goes. But I like the brand of cricket we're playing. We're trying to drive the game. As I said, the luck of the bounce hasn't always been out there for us in the season just yet. So, hopefully, that's a turning point. Yeah. And that's where coach, Tim Paine's, been really good. And I think the biggest thing for us is just keeping what we've done over the last, a couple of weeks don't change the game plan just because you had a couple of tight losses. You know, it's a couple of runs here and there and I know it's going to turn like it did tonight. Yeah, two leggies (Boyce and Pope). The thing is, you don't have to bowl eight overs of leg spin. So it's just there as an option. We've seen, Lloyd Pope come back from, getting whacked early. Boyce is, you know, a seasoned campaigner as well. And when Shorty's (Matt Short) back on the park, we've got that finger spin, so spin the win for Adelaide Strikers (laughter). It doesn't work in every condition. But for us, it's working nicely. (Lack of Form) I've always said, and I've said it on commentary a fair bit. If you miss out I am just one game close to the man of the match. You don't lose that confidence that you've built over the years. But if you're not scoring around, where can you add value in the time? So hopefully that's with leadership and I'd like to just keep scoring runs and just add value to every facet of a game."

Chris Lynn blasted the ball all over the ground to start the innings. When Lynn was dropped behind the stumps by Seifert, the Renegades squandered two excellent opportunities. The second one came two balls later when they failed to take the review of an LBW opportunity. Before Rogers dismissed him with a slower delivery, D'Arcy Short produced an effective innings and supported Lynn well. Lynn, who blasted 88 runs off 51 balls, was on his way to reaching his sixth T20 century when he was dismissed by Zampa at extra cover. The Renegades may have wasted the opportunity to deploy their spinners sooner on a sluggish surface since both of their opportunities went down the line off their spinner. Even though Zampa took two wickets, Rogers took two, and Bethell eventually took one, it was too late for the game's circumstances. Later in the game, Seifert missed another opportunity, this one to his right side off the outside edge of Ollie Pope, although it was a tough one. Despite some late drama and a string of wicket losses, the Strikers ultimately prevailed in the match.
