Phew, what a game! Melbourne Renegades win by three wickets and, for now, are fourth in the table. Defending champions Brisbane Heat are out. That was a brilliant chase, led by Jake Fraser-McGurk's best innings of the season. There was some great striking in it. And that all came after Renegades had two bowlers withdrawn from the attack for running on the pitch.

"There's a pulse," Fraser-McGurk says of the win. "Hopefully some results go our way. You can feel terrible...then you get two shots away and you are back."

Now, all eyes head over to Perth. Our coverage is up and running here. We'll get some sums done for you on the NRR situation for Scorchers and Strikers. Of course, Melbourne Stars can end all debate by winning tomorrow. But one thing at a time. I'm going to wrap this one up for and hand you over to Perth. For now, from Gnasher and Alex, it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.

Bartlett to O'Neill, FOUR, yes they can! Advances down the pitch and crunches it to long-on. What a chase

Can they finish it this ball?

Now the tail has to get the job done. Heat still alive.

Walter to Sutherland, OUT, taken at deep midwicket! It's going wrong for Renegades. Short of a length, Sutherland steps across, heaves into the leg side and straight to the fielder

Walter to Fraser-McGurk, OUT, what a catch! A screamer at long-off by Renshaw. Fraser-McGurk looked to have connect well straight down the ground, but it's intercepted short of the rope above his head. He misses his century, but has given Renegades a chance of a win to stay in finals contention
