9.30 pm It didn't look like it midway through the innings when Adelaide Strikers had only 147 to defend. But they were all over Brisbane Heat. McCullum couldn't get them. Lynn couldn't get them. Cutting couldn't get them. The chase went kaput by the time the Powerplay ended. And as the win was sealed so was another lovely little stat - 91 is the lowest score Strikers have bowled a team out for in the BBL. Thank you for your company. Party hard, party safe.
"We didn't want to get 147. Neser was unbelievable. We know his striking ability, and he's been unbelievable with the ball too," says Travis Head. "New Year's Eve is an unbelievable occasion.
