Moises Henriques is the Player of the Match: "I had to rebuild with wickets falling around me. That allowed me to set some sort of platform. Wanted to capitalise on their bad bowling. Didn't want to take risk of their better balls early and try to come home late. Used the surge to take a platform into the death overs. Curran also put their bowlers under pressure which was an important partnership. I love training, and I love trying to get better. I'm always trying to work on new things and tinkering to certain things. I'm obviously closer to the end of my career than the start but I like to master whatever I do. I feel people use momentum instead of confidence. When people are full of confidence and in a good space, that's what people call momentum. I just try to keep us all engaged and encourage them that every moment is a moment to get better from."

The Sixers win the match despite having 22% chance of victory at the halfway stage according to ESPNcricinfo's Forecaster. They needed early wickets in the chase, and instead got something even better: two openers struggling and also eating up deliveries. D'Arcy Short had a forgettable 36-ball 21. Wade failed to get going too. Cox, Lammonby, David did not find success either, and in the end, the Sixers were too good with their bowling strength and variety. They make it two in two despite conceding one bash boost point today.

Although the Sixers had a brilliant all-round bowling performance, a lot of credit also goes to Moises Henriques for his batting. He used his experience to see off the difficult period in the first innings and then looked for the big shots after getting past fifty. Don't forget Tom Curran's all-round show too: an important partnership with the bat alongside Henriques and 3-27 with the ball.

Mustafa Moudi: "For me the highlight for this match was Mathew getting dismissed by Hayden :)"

Curran to Paris, no run, length ball, slower ball too. Wide outside off. Paris misses the pull and Sydney Sixers win by 14 runs!

Curran to Handscomb, OUT, back of a length, wide outside off, and Handscomb crunches a pull, but when Silk is in the deep you're in trouble. Taken along the boundary line and Handscomb finally falls after a valiant fight

Curran to Handscomb, FOUR, low full toss just outside off stump. Full face of the bat as he smacks it over the bowler's head for four! Too little, too late though

Curran to Handscomb, no run, full ball, near the tramlines. He looks to slog across the line, trying to drag a shot to the leg side. Inside-edged towards the keeper's left

Curran to Ellis, OUT, slower ball. Full just outside off. Tries to swipe a shot to the leg side but top edged upwards instead. Keeper gets under it to take a simple catch

Curran to Handscomb, 1 run, full toss, but quite low so Handscomb can't get under it. Mistimed to Silk at deep midwicket, and he chooses not to take the arm on. Ellis on strike

Curran to bowl out.
