That concludes our coverage from Optus Stadium. Perth Scorchers have banked a home qualifier against Sydney Sixers next Saturday night. The winner will host the BBL final. Thanks for your company tonight.
Cameron Bancroft is Player of the Match: "I don't know how to describe what was going on there in the last 10 overs. It was all happening. We made it exciting. At the end of the day the main goal was to win and get a home final and we've done that so it's fantastic. I tried to pace my innings as well as I could, hit boundaries when I needed to and there was a few times we wanted to take the surge and we lost a wicket at the back end of the over so I had to regroup again. I felt like I hit the ball well tonight."
7.36pm Scorchers win by 10 runs in a bizarre game of cricket. Renegades needed on 101 from 36 balls and made 90 off the last six overs. Finch was 16 off 16 and finished with 76 not out off 35 balls. Scorchers lost the plot with the ball and in the field. But they win the game and secure the home qualifier against Sydney Sixers. But Finch and the Renegades will take some heart from that chase as they push to try and make the playoffs.
Matthew: "'Gades NRR not gonna take much of a hit here, what a show from Finch."
Mustafa Moudi: "The last 2 overs belonged to Aarons - 18th to Finch for getting 31 Runs and 19th to Hardie for conceding just 9 and picking a wicket !!"
Mitesh Taweria: "Scorchers players have fielded the ball with their faces today more than they did it with hands."
