- BATSMENRB4s6sSR13.1 slower ball cleans up McDermott. Was struggling for rhythm all innings, McDermott backs away from leg trying to get elevation to clear the off side ring during the Power Surge and is done in by lack of pace, too early driving at a full ball on middle and the stumps light up. 97/21.4 clumsily drags on! Really poor ball slanted down the leg side, Short goes to slog sweep this and his timing is way off, the ball rides up his elbow and then the bottom edge of the bat redirects this back onto the stumps in his follow through. Short can't believe his luck, neither can Maxwell. 15/118.5 in the slot on fifth stump, but a miscue from Malan as he can't get the distance to clear Maxwell at long-on. Easy catch five yards in from the ring. It was there to crack but couldn't capitalize. 155/513.2 Stanlake on a hat-trick! Another slower ball cutter first ball to Ellis, who backs away from leg taking a step down the track and is a touch early pushing his hands hard to drive over the ring, Maxwell settles under this on the ring at mid-on for a simple catch. 97/317.3 superb catch by Cartwright from deep midwicket breaks the stand! Full ball on the stumps, mistimes a flick trying to clear the ropes and Cartwright reads it well off the bat charging in 20 yards before diving forward to claim this at shin height. It was dipping fast but he made it look easy. 148/4Extras9 (b 1, lb 2, nb 1, w 5)TOTAL164/5 (20 Overs, RR: 8.2)Fall of wickets: 1-15 (D'Arcy Short, 1.4 ov), 2-97 (Ben McDermott, 13.1 ov), 3-97 (Nathan Ellis, 13.2 ov), 4-148 (Colin Ingram, 17.3 ov), 5-155 (Dawid Malan, 18.5 ov)

- BATSMENRB4s6sSR2.6 chaos! Never a run in a million years! Full length ball on off, Fletcher guides this straight to Short at backward point. Cartwright sets off for a suicide run and Fletcher hesitates before setting off as well, Short fields and fires at the non-striker's end and nails the stumps with a one bounce throw to catch Fletcher five yards short. Hesitation or not, he was going to be out even if he set off the moment it left the bat. 17/22.4 gets him next ball! Good length ball tighter on off stump, Stoinis shuffles across to flick over midwicket and it climbs on him a touch, skies this over square leg and Handscomb runs across from midwicket to claim this just behind the umpire on the ring. 17/15.4 googly cleans him up! Flighted on a good length on fourth stump, Cartwright is playing for a legbreak going back to cut but it spins in and and cramps him badly, crashes into the top of leg stump. Super Sandy is off and running! 40/313.1 out of nowhere Maxwell holes out to midwicket! It was short on the stumps, skidded on perhaps a touch quicker than Maxwell expected though and rushed him trying to heave over the leg side rope. Short hustles in from the rope and coasts to catch this at waist height reaching forward. Cagey from Botha. 112/512.4 Boland's traditional lines and lengths work their magic again. Back of a length ball angled across fourth stump from over the wicket to the lefty, Pooran stuck flat-footed on the crease fends away from his body enough to draw the edge and snapped up easily by McDermott. A generous interpretation would be that Pooran was trying to run this off the open face to third man for a single but looked more like a genuine defensive poke and edge. 112/414.3 another googly claims a wicket for Lamichhane! Lands this on a good length on off and spins away, Dunk tries to cut this with the spin but extra bounce and a thick edge is snapped up. 119/616.5 the change of angle works! Length ball on the body, heaves a slower ball toward deep square leg, picks out one of the two men on the rope in the Power Surge. Ellis holds his nerve to pouch this a yard inside the rope at head height. 136/717.4 length ball in the slot on off stump, another chance for a boundary missed out. Could've easily gone for four or six over mid-off but he splices this to Handscomb on the ring jogging left from mid-off for a simple catch. 138/817.6 yorker cleans him up! Picture perfect full on off stump, Morris tried to back away from leg to create room driving through cover but no chance on that length and the bails fly off. 138/9Extras6 (lb 3, w 3)TOTAL143/9 (20 Overs, RR: 7.15)Did not bat: NJ MaddinsonFall of wickets: 1-17 (Marcus Stoinis, 2.4 ov), 2-17 (Andre Fletcher, 2.6 ov), 3-40 (Hilton Cartwright, 5.4 ov), 4-112 (Nicholas Pooran, 12.4 ov), 5-112 (Glenn Maxwell, 13.1 ov), 6-119 (Ben Dunk, 14.3 ov), 7-136 (Sam Rainbird, 16.5 ov), 8-138 (Liam Hatcher, 17.4 ov), 9-138 (Lance Morris, 17.6 ov)
