1.3 Stoinis takes a blinder running backwards! Slight fuller length in the slot outside off, hangs back and swings it away, did not time it quite well, just cleared the mid-on circle. Stoinis covered ground by racing backwards and following the ball before diving full stretch and grabbing it. Amazing work by the captain of the Melbourne Stars! 22/1
5.2 Curran strikes! Short of a length ball on the sixth stump line, Owen hangs back and swings it away, did not get enough on it, strikes the bottom part of the bat, hits it straight to Maxwell at long on region 54/4

3.2 Short of a good length ball zips through on the stumps, played off the front foot, did not connect and hits the back pad, loud appeal and the umpire raised his finger! McDermott decides to review it. Replay confirmed no bat involved, three reds with the ball hitting the top of middle-leg. Hobart Hurricanes lose their third wicket and the review too. 45/3
10.3 Caught and bowled! Generously flighted good length ball with a hint of turn, Nikhil moves forward and tries to negate it to the on-side against the turn, pushes off the front foot and chips it off the outside edge of the bat straigth back to Usama Mir, takes a good low catch diving forward 100/6
9.5 Flatter delivery on the pads, advances forward and decides to go after it, flicks it straight to Cartwright at deep backward square leg, easy catch for the outfield fielder, did not have to move an inch 92/5
14.4 Generously flighted ball turning away outside off, Tim David goes big at it, big heave of the bat, did not get enough elevation and sends it straight to Maxwell near the long on boundary ropes, 86th BBL catch for Glenn Maxwell 133/8
13.3 Forced through bat and pads! Length ball off-cutter delivery on the off stump line, hangs back and plays across the line, drags it down and failed to connect, strikes the off stump bails and knocked it over! 123/7
18.1 Steketee holds on to it! Length ball on the leg stump, attempts to hit it over the fences, flicks and skied it high to square leg region inside the circle, Steketee from short fine leg, sprinted and covered ground, tracking the ball as it flew in the air for a while, settling beneath a swarm of seagulls, and diving to complete the grab. 169/9
19.3 That's the end of Ellis, and the end of the Hobart Hurricanes innings! Back of a length ball, goes after it with full swing of the bat, hits it flat and straight of long on, Maxwell comes around and estimated the ball's path precisely, grabbed it with the reverse cup, looked back to see where the rope was, remained a few meters inside, and posed for the spectators, delighted! 179/10
