11.48pm That's it from all of us. As one of our readers pointed out earlier, a hat-trick of West Indian MoMs: Lendl Simmons yesterday, Sunil Narine in the afternoon game, and now Dwayne Smith. Smith's innings today consigned Kings XI to a defeat that will leave them with a very difficult path to the play-offs. To get there, they might (and probably will) need to beat Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant, the top three teams on the table. They will have to do this without Hashim Amla, who scored another century in a losing cause today, and David Miller.
The league stage is drawing to an exciting close, so do keep tuning in to our commentary, and do keep sending in your feedback. Until next time, good night!
Dwayne Smith is the player of the match. "Still disappointed about my performances over the past games. I think my natural game is like that, it was just about staying out there as long as possible, and if I do that we'll stay in front of the run rate. Real good pitch, judging from where I was fielding, I knew once I stay out there, runs will come for sure. We're already out of the tournament, so we can't worry about that, we just need to keep going on and look to damage some other teams as well."
Suresh Raina: "Smithy and Ishan gave us the platform and later on me and DK had a good partnership. I think it was about six-over partnerships. Sandy and Mohit bowled brilliantly in between, but me and DK rotated the strike really well. When you're chasing 190, you need a good start, and that's what we've had in the last couple of matches. Too many injuries as a side. Still a good season for the youngsters."
"Pretty devastating," Glenn Maxwell says. "189 was enough, the bowlers and fielders let us down. We dropped three crucial catches. We haven't won a heap of games in a row. We've had to scrap. Unfortunately, we'll lose Hashim and David Miller now, and we'll have to look deep in our reserves and regroup."
Batting first this season, Lions have played 6, won 0, and lost 6. Batting second? Played 6, won 4, lost 2.
11.33pm The curse of the Amla century continues. It wasn't his fault Kings XI lost, though. As mentioned earlier, he scored 104 off 60 and his team-mates only 82 off 60. Set 190 to win on a flat batting pitch, Lions raced away thanks to Dwayne Smith's 39-ball 74, and were always ahead after that. Kings XI didn't help themselves by dropping three catches. A bit of a wobble from the chasing team at the end, but the pressure told on Kings XI's bowlers and fielders rather than Lions' batsmen.
Back over the wicket to Karthik. The fielders come in now. Don't know if anyone's back at all.
Left-arm around to Jadeja now.
A bit of luck with that top-edged six, and the pressure was back on Kings XI. Aaron bowled that short, wide ball next ball, and then Marsh conceded that overthrow. Lions now need just eight off six. Who will bowl the last over?
It's Natarajan. Fine leg up, third man on the boundary. And deep point as well.
END OF OVER:19 | 16 Runs | GL: 182/4 (8 runs required from 6 balls, RR: 9.57, RRR: 8.00)
- Ravindra Jadeja6 (5b)

- Sandeep Sharma4-0-29-2
Tension, tension. Out of nowhere. Lions need two a ball in the last two overs.
END OF OVER:18 | 4 Runs 2 Wkts | GL: 166/4 (24 runs required from 12 balls, RR: 9.22, RRR: 12.00)

Around the wicket to Jadeja.
Nakul: "This can get tricky if this over goes for 4-5 runs.I believe KXIP have been disciplined sunce getting Smith.!" -- Yup. A bit of that, and a bit of complacency from the batsmen as well. There was a definite dip in boundary-finding intent.
AJ Finch c †Saha b Sandeep Sharma 2 (2m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100
Here's Finch. DK on strike, though. The batsmen crossed over.
SK Raina c Gurkeerat Singh b Sandeep Sharma 39 (41m 25b 4x4 1x6) SR: 156
Good over from Aaron. Only four from it, and he should have had a wicket too. One more good over and Lions could get under a bit of pressure. Can Sandeep deliver it?
