12.18 am Right, that's it from us here. On behalf of Karthik and Thilak, this is Saurabh Somani, signing off.

12.12 am Rohit Sharma: "Every game you play in IPL is important. And having lost two games at the start, every game is important. We don't want the headache of winning every game at the back-end of the tournament. It becomes very tough. I thought 170 was a fighting total because there was something in the pitch. If we knock a few wickets with the new ball, we'll be in the game. That's probably why I can't find a game-changing moment in this 40 overs. We didn't start well, but we finished well. 170 on a Wankhede track is a sub-par score but we were very good with the ball. We saw with Jason (Behrendorff) he bowls very well with the new ball for Australia also. He got us crucial wickets in the first six overs. Rahul (Chahar) as well. Poor guy bowled only two overs, but there was a reason behind it - he was finding it tough to grip the ball. That is also why we play six bowlers, it gives me options."

Hardik Pandya is the Man of the Match. "It feels pretty good to help the team to win and contribute. It's been seven months that I've hardly played games, I've just batted and batted. I want to improve my game every day. It's a fantastic feeling batting like that and making your team win. I was out for injury and then some other controversy happened. I want to dedicate this Man of the Match to my family and friends, who stood with me in the toughest times. Now my only focus is to play IPL and make sure India wins the World Cup."

12.05 am This is also Mumbai Indians' 100th win in the IPL. Owner Nita Ambani is overjoyed. "I have followed the journey from year 1 to year 12," she says. "MS Dhoni is a captain I respect the most, so it's very special when we are playing against him, whether we win or we lose."

11.55 pm: Not only has this match finished before midnight, it's also brought an end to CSK's unbeaten run so far in the IPL. That ends overs blast off by Hardik in particularly, and Pollard, really made the difference between a par total and one that was out of reach for CSK. Excellent bowling by Mumbai, who stifled the Super Kings batsmen and never allowed them to get away.

MS Dhoni: "I think quite a few things went wrong for us. I think we started off well and 12th-13th over also we were on the mark, but after that there were some drops and mis-fields. The death bowling also didn't come off. It was slightly tough on them. We do more one-on-one stuff than team meetings. On a wicket like this, what is important is carefully study which boundaries they could have cut off, and where is the error in execution. Momentum totally depends on where you are at. I don't think the in-between innings break really plays a part. Even if you have finished well, you need to start (the second innings) well. I don't think momentum really matters. What counts more is setting the tone while batting (or bowling). Bravo has a bit of a hamstring problem, so we'll have to see the combination. We're missing a few players already. There are areas to work on but what is important is for individuals to step up and take responsibility."

Kieron Pollard: The Pandya boys have been batting well, so being the more experienced guy I have to take the initiative and try to do well whenever I come in. (Why are you not bowling?) That's a question you'll have to ask the skipper. I think as a team we strive on momentum. Beating the top team in the competition so far is good for us. We have batted pretty well in all games, and the bowlers stepped up to the mark today. (Hardik) is phenomenal. For us it's just about encouraging him and giving him that opportunity. He practices like that."

HH Pandya to Sharma, no run, back of a length outside off again, it's a hard length and a tailender will miss it more often than not, as Mohit does. That ends that. Mumbai Indians win by 37 runs.
