Good to watch an exciting game after a couple of one-sided ones yesterday, unfortunately for the hosts, they did not get over the line. Bangalore will be breathing just that little bit easier but the fight for the top four spots isn't over by any means given that Hyderabad has a game in hand. That's it then from me for tonight, hope you have a good time ahead! Ciao, good night!

----------------------------

Presentation

David Warner: Disappointed to lose today. Credit to the way Bangalore batted. (About Morkel's wicket of Kohli off no-ball) - that's cricket. Different from captaining for the Sixers in terms of the crowds. Always a packed house, which is a good thing.

Virat Kohli: I love playing in my home ground, wonderful to play in front of my home crowd. I thought I was gone, when I saw that no-ball. The first boundary got me going. Nervous when the last over was going on, the way it has gone last few games. My beard's greying already!

Jaidev Unadkat is the man of the match: Happy with the outcome, happy to be given the last over.

----------------------------

That got really close for Bangalore in the end, they would have thought it was all sewn up when Rohrer left but they kept chipping away with the some good strokes before the last assault on Rampaul left the side needing 19 in the last over. They got 14 of them.

20 for Chennai, 18 for Rajasthan and Bangalore move up to 16 alongside Mumbai. Hyderabad on 14 (with a game in hand) and Punjab on 10 are the other contenders. Interesting few games ahead then.

SriniDasari: "I remember Kapil Dev once said that getting 5 wkts is tough as scoring a hundred. Now interesting to see who will be the MoM...Kohli for 99 with 2 lives or Unadkat who took 5 crucial wickets. I am partial to bowlers though."

Sachin: "As a DD fan, I missed RP Singh badly today.."

Chris in Taunton: "Had to be a win for RCB. To get 99 run out AND lose would be a bit much!" And a five-wicket haul too.

Milan timilsina : "they send the warner in 2 man down who is opening batsman and send the jayawerdena in opening who is specialist in one man down. Warner is dangerous opening batsman soo don"t send him after two man down ..hope we can see warner and shewag as a opening for DD"
